I once saw an advert that told me that the PSP/PS3 and Sony wanted to see my girlfriend naked. Does that mean the PSP is only for perverts?

I once saw a PSP advert that had people playing or using the PSP for a few moments, getting bored, and then throwing it away.

I once saw an advert for the Xbox 360 that said you could play a video game or go out and have fun throwing water balloons at other people instead. Does that mean Microsoft doesn't want people to play actual games?

I once saw a SEGA advert that told me hitting yourself with a dead squirrel is how to enjoy a handheld. Does that mean only dead squirrel lovers play handhelds?

I've seen adverts with kids playing video games and having dumb, zombie stares on their face. Does that mean only people playing without a brain can enjoy video games?

Adverts mean nothing.

Gosh, I remember when that was an overused joke right after they revealed the Wii and it's target audience.

And you know what? It still is.

What the add doesn't tell you is that they, the grandma and the children, are playing the Wii-port of Rapelay.

Which part they are currently playing is up to you to imagine.

I think this just shows the mainstream success of Wii. Remember that show with the Geico caveman... In more than one episode They played Wii sports, or the Nintendo toys that Burger King handed out? Wii is just part of American culture.
