And it's in even worse shape than that suggests.

Plainly and repeatedly listed as a "faulty Xbox 360" - and that picture isn't deceptive advertising - UK eBayer jonnyandco05's bricked 360 comes to you "modified for better ventilation, with a turbo inlet on the side." Also, "the disk drive has been repositioned for optimal performance at 37 degrees." No doubt by a massive blow to the case.

The seller says the console ringed and he tried to fix it, but his skills weren't up to it. "Sadly, it does have a bit of fire damage and rage damage." But just a bit.

Pros: Has "authentic Microsoft sticker."

Cons: "Some parts are a bit missing, like the on button." I'm sure that's what's preventing it from starting up.

Bidding started at 1 pence, At time of publication, it was up to £6.01. "Please note if you buy this it is sold as faulty, in quite a faulty way," he writes. "But faulty is the new fashion now days so you may become super trendy. no returns, no refunds, no job."

Faulty xbox 360, bargaiiiinnn quite possibly maybe? [ebay.co.uk, thanks James B.]

<![CDATA[Amazon Gold Box Thursday Full Of PS3 Goodness]]> Amazon continues to roll out the holiday video game deals, having announced that this coming Thursday, December 18th will see an entire day of PlayStation 3 and Blu-ray Gold Box deals.

Starting Thursday night at 12:01AM, Amazon.com's Gold Box will be kicking off an entire day of PS3 bargains. While we've no idea what said bargains are as of yet, chances are they'll have something for the PS3 owner in your life marked down ridiculously as only Amazon can.

For some odd reason we generally don't hear about these things until the day they are happening, generally after the best item on sale has already come and gone, so a big shout out to all of our lovely readers for passing this on.

<![CDATA[Game Crazy's Black Friday Ad Elicits Thrills, Chills]]> As a part of our ongoing quest to provide you with Black Friday deals from every store in the entire country, we give you Game Crazy's four-page Black Friday ad, bursting with delicious savings.

As is often the case with Black Friday ads, you may not find the freshest games on Game Crazy's list if you poke about there are some rather nice deals, especially on early Friday morning, when you can get Far Cry 2 for the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 for only $39.99. Otherwise it looks like a nice shop for picking up on some older games you might have missed. Assassin's Creed and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for $9.99 is nothing to sneeze at, and if you've never played The Darkness, $4.99 is a completely insane price.

Hit the jump to browse all four pages, oddly stylized to look like blown up comic strips from the 1950's. Marketing people are so crazy.

<![CDATA[Wal-Mart Launches 'Operation Main Street']]> 'Operation Main Street' is not - as you may have suspected - a sinister mash-up of the Rainbow Six and SimCity franchises, but is in fact Wal-Mart's Holiday Season price cutting bonanza. The supermarket chain reckons it can save consumers around $200 Million on consumer electronics, toys, games and other gifts. $200M between them, obviously. Anything else would be silly.

Among all this unfettered consumerism, Wal-Mart will showing off its nicer side by donating an estimated $20M to local charities around its stores including a $1.25 million grant to The Salvation Army.

As well as the promised discounts, Kotaku readers might wish to know about the $100 Wal-Mart gift card up for grabs when you buy an 80GB PS3 for $399. If that sounds like you kind of thing, the 'series of initiatives' will run for seven weeks from November 8th across North America.

Along with the Deal of the Day they are also holding Gold Box deals on games throughout the day, with the first - Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party for the Wii at $49.99 just about gone as I write this. The next deal starts at 10AM Pacific and looks to be Rock Band, with the remaining two consisting of a Singstar title, and possibly one of those trays for cooking bacon in the microwave. <![CDATA[Amazon Doling Out Wii Deals Again]]> Amazon is in the middle of another Gold Box Wii game day, where a different Wii game is available for a discounted price every couple of hours. This one sort of snuck up on us, so as of right now the deal of the day, Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games, is still available for the low price of $29.99. As for the timed special, so far all we've missed is Cabela's Big Game Hunter for $19.99, which is really no big loss. As this post goes live we're smack dab in the middle of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock for $64.99, with new games coming at 2pm and 6pm Pacific time. Who knows what wondrous values await us?

<![CDATA[ECA Cuts Military Spending]]> You read that right, the Entertainment Consumers Association, an organization dedicated to promoting consumer advocacy with concerns to political issues involving gaming, has cut military spending by 25%. Granted the discount only applies to military personnel who wish to join the ECA, and it only comes out to five bucks off the normal fee of $19.99 a year, but hey, it's something! It's all thanks to GamePolitics.com regular and ECA member Robert Kalal, stationed in Turkey with the Air Force, who wanted to promote the association to his fellow servicemen.

"We're excited to extend our 25 percent Student Discount for annual membership dues to all active service men and women with a valid dot mil domain extension," said Hal Halpin, president of the ECA.
There you go, proud men and women of the military. Getting shelled by enemy artillery doesn't sound so bad now that you've got 25% off ECA membership, now does it?
THE ENTERTAINMENT CONSUMERS ASSOCIATION (ECA) ANNOUNCES MILITARY DISCOUNT

The Entertainment Consumers Association (ECA) today announced a new membership program - and they want you! The ECA is now offering a 25 percent Military Discount, giving all members of the military a reduced rate of just $14.99 per year. Those qualifying for this discount will have access to a number of key gaming resources, programs and services geared toward connecting the gaming community together including exclusive subscription discounts, savings on game purchases and rentals, access to industry events, and more.

"We're excited to extend our 25 percent Student Discount for annual membership dues to all active service men and women with a valid dot mil domain extension," said Hal Halpin, president of the ECA. "It came as a result of conversations between GamePolitics.com regular and ECA member Robert "lexfor" Kalal, who was promoting the association to his fellow gamers in the Air Force while stationed in Turkey. While we're aligned with several charities that support the troops, it seemed apparent that extending this discount was yet another way of honoring their service and dedication."
