Ha, the questions that buyers have asked (and the seller's answers) are pretty funny:
Q: i am very interested in purchasing a xbox 360. If by chance i was not satisfied with your item would you accept returns?
A: Im sorry, due to the 100% satisfaction guarantee, no returns are accepted
Q: Does the XBOX come with a microsoft warranty, as i think there are a few people on here selling dodgy one's. !!!! i ain't seen any as yet though.
A: The warranty is now up sadly, luckily the xbox has genuine faults, nothing dodgy here lol :D
Q: As it was bought in 2006, was it bought at the end of 2006, as in is it still within the three year RROD warranty? Also has the console been registered online with Microsoft?
A: The date says 18th January 2006, so sadly it has just gone out of warranty, it would have been an easy fix as well,,
Q: Would you say this is less an xbox 360 and more a work of art?? Thanks debby
A: I think the angles it has created do symbolize a part of our very nature, yes it is rather arty i agree
Q: Has the ventilation modification meant that this can no longer be used on Live?
A: Sadly the ventilation has made the xbox too powerful for xbox live, :(
Q: Hi, I am very interested in the xbox, but can you tell me have you had any over heating issues, lol. This is the tidiest looking xbox I have seen in a long time. Cheers, Jason
A: Hi This xbox runs so cool that we use it as air conditioning but then there was a fire problem, thankfully it has been fully restored to by professionals to a professional condition, , nicceee :D
@duckmouth: Excellent post! I am going to have to come up with my own for kicks.
"Sir, Inquiring about your Xbox. Is it rather tasty? It looks like of the inside of a Klondike bar or ice cream sandwich and it has made me very hungry."
@qamulek: This is also why throwing the 360 out of a chopper into a volcano is dangerous. This guy probably didn't do that but bad things much worse than this can happen if you do throw a 360 out of a chopper into a volcano.
When I first saw that 360, it reminded me of this PSP. But then I noticed that the 360 is actually dead, whereas the psp just got a case mod. A very SEXY case mod at that.
I'm not going to try and defend the 360 from those who refuse to look at it in any way but as "faulty," but it just seems like bad taste at this point to continue the defamation of Microsoft over a product that they have outright acknowledged has technical problems that have a rather high probability of occurring to the consumer's own console.
And no, I will not argue over the Wii. I'm so tired of the prophet and profit made by an incredibly shallow product.
Regardless of that, it's interesting that he's not trying to get more for it. I've seen people try to sell a PS3 for thousands of dollars, so why not a broken 360 for about a hundred?
It also seems like he was a bit premature in trying to fix the problem himself. I understand wanting to avoid the hassle of sending it in and waiting a few weeks for a return, but you should just go with company policy if you know you can't do it yourself. Is the policy for repaired 360s different in the UK?
I am sure you can still play games like "Hit The Pedestrian From 5 Floors Up". The only problem is that you can only play it once (or twice, if the cops don't arrive fast enough) ^_^.
@relic1980: Well you could also turn it to some more pieces and then throw them quickly before the cops arrive, then you could enjoy 2 minutes of fun with it!
