As you can see from my checkout receipt above, Walmart.com is currently accepting preorders for Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii for the insanely low price of $19.82 - over $30 off of the retail price. Of course there is always the chance that this 'deal' will go away extremely quickly, or that all of us participating customers will receive a "We're Sorry" email in the near future, but for now - I'd hit it.

UPDATE: Now when you go to the page it lists the $19.82, only to jump to $49.82 when you click the purchase button. Now to see if they cancel my order.

<![CDATA[Awesome PS3 Deal...From Dell?]]> When I am shopping for video game consoles, Dell isn't just the last place I would look - it simply isn't. Laptops, sure, but consoles? Well if you're in the market for a PS3 this Christmas, you'd be doing yourself a grave disservice by not checking out the deal Dell is running on the new 40GB system. Not only do you get the console itself along with the Spider-Man 3 Blu-ray disc, but they've sweetened the deal with a Startech 6 ft HDMI cable, perfect for a system that has an HDMI port but still ships with a standard AV cable in the box. What's that you say? A cable isn't good enough for you? Elitist jerk. Well they're also throwing in a copy of Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, the single-best reason to own the PlayStation 3 at the moment. That's a value of somewhere around a gajillion dollars ($488 in real money), all for the low Dell price of $399.99. If you're in the market, or have a loved one who has their heart set on the PS3, this is an excellent way to make Christmas your bitch.

<![CDATA[The 99 Cent PS3 Auction]]>

That $9.99 PlayStation 3 auction that McWhertor mentioned earlier ain't nothing. Earlier this morning a Kotaku reader slapped down a Buy It Now bid on a PS3, 2 free games, an extra controller, and free shipping on top of it, all for the bargain price of $.99. Less than one American dollar!

You know kids, eBay has instructional help files for a reason.

The auction also mentions that the package includes "Talladega Nights - Ballads of Ricky Robbin", and that the seller was the longest person in line, though he doesn't explain how he knows this. A launch line has to be pretty damn boring before I whip it out and start comparing. Okay that's a lie, but still.

Granted, there's a chance this could just be someone giving away $1000 worth of stuff...just not a very big one. The buyer is looking to hold him to the price, but I don't really see that happening.

The 99 cent Buy It Now eBay PS3 Good luck GeeQzilla!
