Meh i'm not that offended when it comes to Cobain, he was always too pretentious for my liking so I found this vid funny....nothing to get upset about.
However as for the man in black himself.....this crap makes me sick #bandhero
Besides, if Johnny Cash and Kurt Cobain were still around, I just know that they would have done this in real life by now anyway. Every rock legend needs to team up with another rock legend and sing YMCA at least once in their lives. #bandhero
I wasn't big in the internet until recently, but I assume outrage like this has been happening for years when it comes to wrestling games, right? I mean, since you can change a legend's moveset to something completely ridiculous, let's say a woman's moveset, people must have been calling for THQ's proverbial head on a stake, right? It's not like that's any different than this. Other than the fact that people take music way too seriously and act as though they are the personal defense force for their favorite band's honor.
"And once again I must ask if anybody can explain why an ode to anonymous gay sex at the YMCA is used as a crowd singalong at sporting events." #bandhero
@NinjaMarion: Because sporting events are largely populated by people trying to defend their masculinity as they secretly stare at the butts of the puffy-pantsed football players.
@TRT-X: Right, because the quotes there, and especially the source link, signify it was my words and original thought.
Even if it were, making a joke about how a song that's very widely associated as a gay anthem is often used does not a homophobe make. Maybe you might wanna spend more time checking the homophobia wiki page and less time jumping to conclusions about other people's belief systems based on a quoted joke in a comment section.
Quick, someone hook-up a brushless DC motor/generator to Cobain's body. By my calculations, his angular velocity is so high from his spinning that he'd power an entire college campus or Lady GaGa event, give or take! #bandhero

Edit: I had already seen the vid before it was pulled - I just wanted to show it to my brother. lol
