I wonder how switching between instruments in-game feels (with L and R). It's pretty new, so I should be surprised.

@MaxDragon7: It's easy getting used to. Played the game. Don't ask me where I got it.

@BubbleF**kingBuddy: It's WESTERN DJMax. The thing about DJMax is I don't know 75% of the tracks in it.

wait, i'm confused... the creators of frequency and amplitude are getting paid for this, right? ...

if not, they should be suing MTV's pants off because it's a complete rip-off.

@teh_sideburns: This type of rhythm game is too common for them to ever have a case.

So, it's a portable Amplitude, with the Rock Band aesthetic and less terrible techno songs I hate.

...I think I'm sold already. Damn it.

@Archaotic: I'm not sure I've known more than maybe 5 people in my life who actually liked techno (I am not one of those five). I'm not quite sure how that has happened.

You know I kind of, you know, absolutely love techno. Daft Punk, The Field, Telefon Tel Aviv, Justice, Boize Noize, The Bloody Beetroots... man that shit pumps through my veins!

@nworobes: Techno has some good stuff but it takes quite a bit of digging to find it. I'm more of a Psychedelic Trance man myself....although if I was label myself using any music genre, I'd say I was a metalhead.

@AletaHizhouse: I was going to mention that I know a few people (including myself) who think Daft Punk are pretty damn good at what they do, but I wasn't sure if that counts as techno. Can you call any electronic music "techno"?

Wikipedia told me that Daft Punk is "house music", so I wasn't sure if that's considered techno.

@nworobes: Techno is the generic term for electronic music. Kind of like calling anything with a guitar in it just rock music. However, techno itself is a genre altogether, as is house, trance, electro, and much more. You'll find a lot of different kinds out there, but much like -MasterDex- said, you have to dig to find the good stuff. In other words, don't listen to anything that comes from America, but focus on French and British stuff. At least nowadays, that's where all the new and original stuff is coming from.

@Pitchswitch: The Dutch and German techno scene has been pretty tight for a while now too but the French are definitely gaining momentum.
