The popularity of avatars eludes me. I remember getting my Wii, playing around with making an evilly grinning version of myself for 5 minutes and then never looking at it again.

Now people are actually spending money on these virtual gimmicks? Scary.

I'm also afraid that, unless the PC gets some version of this on Steam, our platform will become even more neglected by developers. Hell, consumers giving you $5 each for something it took your developers 20 minutes to cook up? How can any company not make one of their own?

@Super Violent St. Cannon- GOTY Edition ([k]): DJ hero is heavy on the pocket, but activision or no, is a damned fun game.

I advise you, if you are a fan of the music game genre in general to give it a try. My wife and I have a blast with it, hell she's even better than me at quite a few mixes. #assassinscreedii

@(Plant) soulsiphon: Yeah, it looks like a nice game because I saw it for myself at Best Buy but I find it much cheaper to grab a $2 download rather than spending $100+ at once.

Not to mention, I've already built up a solid amount of DLC (130 songs) on top of RB1 porting. There's so many good games coming out, I'm intentionally passing on them so I can wrap up what I've bought this year. L4D2 will be my last until next year. :) #assassinscreedii

@Super Violent St. Cannon- GOTY Edition ([k]): To this day, my actual guitar playing interferes with my Guitar Hero/Rock Band abilities. hahaha. Proper habits always mess me up, because I really want to play the songs I know.

Vocally, though, I'm pretty damn good at these games. hahaha. Especially when you figure out the trick to get perfect every time (Outside of learning songs you don't know). #assassinscreedii

That's really cool! I didn't get in on the beta because I didn't really care about the Facebook or Twitter- but that waypoint is very cool. I like the Awards FINALLY- and I really like the Halo Hub. I wonder what level I'll come in at- I seem to have a lot more than Steve, mostly because of my Halo 3 stuff. Anyway- very interesting idea- I like where it's heading a lot! #halowaypoint

@henhowc: "Awards" are always free when you accomplish certain tasks in-game.

It's kinda weird though that Waypoint's awards are based on Halo game achievements.

It's like Awards for Merits that you get for Achievements.
