You know how long it took me to finish 1 trail run in eggmanland so that I could get the hot dog there for the trophy to get 1 of every food?
6 hours. 6 hours of nonstop gaming. And that's with as many shortcuts I could handle. Took a break to go pee but that's about it. The game's fun but has some serious flaws. #armyoftwo

However, I didn't stop there, I wanted ALL the trophies so I had to do it three times @_@ I think I only failed once after that, though. After you get the first run in it becomes easier to pass it. I didn't view that as a flaw, though. Just the ultimate, final challenge of the game.
But yeah, the game is seriously underrated. I think all its low reviews are due to reviewers sucking at video games, therefore being unable to get any fun out of the day levels, and them being angry that the night levels even exist, instead of reviewing them for what they are (solid action-game material... just with Sonic).

And that wasn't really the flaw, that was just a ridiculously hard trophy! The flaw were the entire last world and last boss when trying to finish the game. You better have 99 extra lives a seriously good reflexes (50 button presses in 10 seconds when it comes at you like a surprise, really?) and if you run out of extra lives on the last boss you gotta do the eggmanland stage all over <-- Not 100% sure on that, been a while since I played.
And yes, most people were probably butt hurt for it not being old school sonic and forgot to see the entire game as for what it was. A fast platforming game with action! #armyoftwo

Like in 5 years you'll be able to re-grab them from your account.
As 360 has no disc burner you can't exactly back em up like Steam lets you.
Cos I'd say the fear of these games not working next gen would be enough to push you away, never mind the high prices.

You can enjoy the work of a person without sharing their beliefs. When you buy Orson Scott Card's stuff, you aren't promoting intolerance and hatred, you are promoting good science fiction.

You do know that books, movies, music and such aren't just the work of one person, right? It's kinda a team effort.
If one of OSC's books does have a very anti-gay message, then sure - don't buy it. In that case, it is the content of the book that you are disagreeing with, not the beliefs of the author. If you are not buying it purely because you disagree with the author's beliefs, how is that any different from the people who avoid watching The Daily Show because Jon Stewart is Jewish?
All I'm saying is, even after Mel Gibson showed his true colors, Mad Max is still one of my favorite movies. There's no reason that should change just because the main actor is socially backwards - these forms of media should be enjoyed or not enjoyed without you having to know who the author is.

Whilst I find any form of discrimination pretty abhorrent, somebody refusing to watch the Daily Show due to a Jewish host is not in any way offensive, freedom of choice/thought is open to all. Somebody standing in the street/writing an article telling ME to not watch it because the host is Jewish is absolutely unacceptable.
It's a difficult one, I totally see where you're coming from, and I'm just trying to imagine if it was a different topic it would matter to different people. Say if the most critically acclaimed game came out tomorrow, and the profits went towards the KKK or something. It's not always easy to separate the work from the person, certainly not for everybody.

[greensboro.rhinotimes.com] - the local wingnut newspaper (well, thats being generous to call them a newspaper, but that is what they call themselves), which frequently runs columns from "Uncle Orson". Judge for yourselves on why so many of us despise the man personally, and why it has little do do (either way) with his more famous fictional work.

All that being said, they do a great job covering local issues and keeping the Greensboro government accountable when it tries to act like they're above the law. Now that I've moved out into another city, I miss the free weekly columns that keep me informed on the local issues.
As far as "Uncle Orson", his articles are always well written and an easy read. He only covers things like movies, food, music, and local plays. It is, essentially, a culture article that doesn't touch on the political. You can disagree with his opinion, but saying you despise him from his articles in the Rhino Times is near the peak of absurdity.

Also there is the whole "all my stories are about children being victimized" thing...yeah OSC is just creepy, sorry if the Rhino Times alone doesn't seem evidentiary enough for you :P
