    Last I remember that happening was with Gitaroo Man and that worked atleast.

    @Gantz: Your Trusted Friend in Science.: Rockstar was able to take GTA games from the PS2 and make them look almost identical on the PS2. Not to mention Chains of Olympus that looks like God of War on PS2.

    @jamesjohnson01: I think you need to go back and compare those games side to side again. The PSP graphics are noticeably worse. Like, much worse.

    Be warned, if they're bringing Demon's Souls stateside, you'll never be seen or heard from again...


    Work? Doesn't matter.

    School? Forget it.

    Evening meal? Don't need it.

    Social interaction? Well, I did just get invaded by a Black Phantom, does that count?


    Your family, friends, heck, the world will never see you again... Demon Souls is that good...

    I hope the wait is not too long though or else i will import it(i mean c'mon the asian version is almost all english damn it)

    @Komrade Kayce: I liked Enchanted arms quite a bit, sure it's not the best RPG but I'd welcome a sequel if it was made a little better and had a bit more openness to it.


    I tried Ninja blade (demo) and I wasn't all that fond of it but it's not too bad. I'm a ninja gaiden and DMC fan though so I think it was just not as good as what I'm used to but anyone who doesn't expect a game to be the best in the genre could probably enjoy it.


    I don't remember much else of what they make. Anyone want to remind me?

    Not that I'm knocking the PS1 or the first PS2 Tenchus. They were pretty sweet.

    @Komrade Kayce: *cough* ahh crap you made me catch somthing.


    Yeah I tried the new tenchu demo on Xbox live and I knew it wasn't worth purchasing at all.


    I like from software though, if a company makes 3 series I like then I like that company usually. Otogi, armoured core, the old tenchu's (hoping they'll make a good new one eventually too) and Enchanted arms. Not to mention I hear a few good stuff about Demons souls too.


    If this announcement has to be one thing I hope it's Otogi 3.

    @xxXX_Insanities_Birth_XXxx: You forgot the ultimate reason why FROM Software gets a free pass no matter their transgressions: Frame Gride.


    I think I read on NeoGAF that Demon's Souls is the best game since Zelda.


    Ninja Blade didn't review well, but there's quite a bit of positivity out there for it.

    @Madeira: I never really heard or played Frame gride. The only games I've played from them is the Tenchu games, Otogi games, enchanted arms and a few of the old armoured core games. Hmmm just checked it on wikipedia though and Frame gride is a dreamcast game and I did just get one so I'm feeling tempted.


    I'd like to play Demon's Souls so it's at least got me interested and I'm sure it'll be good in the end too so I'm hoping From software will keep up that level of quality.


    I did enjoy the demo of Ninja blade a bit but I'm not sure I want it still. I'll probably get it when it's cheaper.


    @Komrade Kayce: EA's pretty good now they've changed but I'm still hoping they'll make a huge game. I do appreciate how they're more diverse now though.


    I agree I'm not a fan of the new armoured core games but I think they're okay still. Enchanted arms wasn't a rehash though and while tenchu and armoured core are rehashes I'm hoping they'll keep them up. Otogi 3 would be very welcome and Demon souls does sound good.

    Haha, by EA I didn't mean Electronic Arts, I meant Enchanted Arms. It wasn't a rehash (unless you count of other JRPGs) and i thought it was pretty good.

    @Intellectualdiot: Yes, they exist. The first few on the PS2 are gems, and I hear the PSX ones were nice, though I didn't play them much.

    @LegendofMyth: From has made some really good titles, especially in the PS2 era. It's been a long time and I'm tired now, but Evergrace was fantastic...I know there were others I can't remember as well.

    Demon's Souls is fucking amazing. I seriously don't know why Sony hasn't brought it over yet, or at least announced it. The ultimate hardcore RPG.


    Also, I'll take "potent potables" for $400.

    I used to play this series with a friend of mine all the time. Considering the customization and the competitive aspects, I wouldn't be surprised if this became as big as Monster Hunter once it's portable.
