<![CDATA[Killzone Becomes, Of All Things, A Love Story]]> Bravo, IGN. Bravo. Having set a high standard last April 1st with their Zelda movie trailer, this year, attention shifts to Killzone. And how it's not a story about killing. It's a story about love.

<![CDATA[Kojima Celebrates April Fool's Day In Style]]> Continuing a tradition of going completely over the top with April 1 gags, Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima and his team have come up with...this. Metal Gear fans, be warned: you'll go bananas.

First teased at GDC, it's a long, elaborate video showing an old friend doing...stuff. I won't spoil any of it. Just hit the link below and watch it yourself.

Then make of it what you will.

<![CDATA[PSP R2: The Camera]]> Yes, this is a leftover April Fool's Day joke, but frankly, this one works for me. Polish photography site Fotopolis put together this mock up of the Sony R2, which combines PSP game playing functionality with high-end camera functions. Unfortunately, the site is in Polish, so I can't read what I assume are hilarious Polish jokes about this thing, but the pictures are worth approximately 4,000 words.

Sony R2 [Thanks, Falafello!]

<![CDATA[Your AFD Round-Up]]> Another April Fool's Day come and gone — and no one could be happier to see it pass than me. I'm gonna try and get everyone caught up on all the day's best (or the worst, your call) jokes.

Oh, I'm sure there are a lot more, but my patience has been tested — and failed — yet again. For the next 364 days, we are all business.

<![CDATA[Grow Your Own 1Up Mushrooms]]> 1upMushroom.JPG

ThinkGeek has gone from selling sweet gadgets to retailing in little techno-miracles. Check out a list of some of their new goodies:

Grow Your Own "1UP" Mushroom Kit ($9.99):
Finally, Super Mario Brothers lovers can grow their own green and white polka dot mushroom. Who says you have to collect 100 coins to obtain an extra life?

USB Tanning Center ($24.99): Geeks are notoriously pale no more! With this easy-to-install UV light, anyone can achieve that deep, dark island tan without having to leave their desktop.

BuzzAire ($12.99):
For those who feel their double mocha latte with an extra shot of espresso just does not cut it any more, this device offers a quick blast of super-caffeinated oxygen for a buzz that no coffee can compete with.

The Screened Sphorb ($39.99):
In a recent survey conducted by ThinkGeek.com, 100 out of 100 people rated this as the number one product in the world. Unfortunately, words alone can not describe the greatness the Screened Sphorb possesses.

Wireless Extension Cords ($34.99): Tired of tripping over the tangled mess of wires from all your peripherals? These highly anticipated wireless extension cords provide power to any unit within 100 feet of any outlet. Users are seriously urged not to cross between transmitter and receiver.

The iZilla ($499.99): The end all, be all of digital music players, the iZilla has two terabytes of memory, capable of storing over 600,000 songs in every available format. This handsome, white briefcase weighs just a touch over 30 pounds, is Bluetooth and Wi Fi enabled and runs on 16 'D' batteries.

Wait, what's tomorrow again?
