About two-thirds of the way through Amazing Chicago's Funhouse Maze is an interactive floor. In the room games are projected onto the floor that you can play. The loop of interactive videos includes a giant drum set, a game of soccer and the great Chicago Fire, with you trying to stamp out the flames.

The games, played as a group, were actually pretty fun. It would have been nice if they threw a bit of education into the Great Fire one, but Tristan still had a blast running around stomping on virtual flames.

<![CDATA[NYC Nintendo World Store Is Still Line Central]]> Look at all these sad, faithful who think that Christmas still isn't ruined because they still might score a Wii. Every morning the Nintendo World Store in New York has hundreds of people line up—many whom are camped out from the night before—all hoping to nab a Wii. I know that we talk about Wii shortages quite a bit and many of you are probably growing sick to death of it all. But take the time to appreciate this as a moment in culture that may never be replicated as long as you live: one year after a consumer electronic's release, the public is still ravenous for the product. Unbelievable.

<![CDATA[Atlas Mech PC Case Mod]]>

Wow. I have a thing about PC case mods, I think they're cool as hell. So I'm always looking around for them, just because I like checking out the details and seeing how they were made. Call me a geek, but I sort of feel about modded PC cases the way car enthusiasts feel about rebuilt cars. I want to check out their guts, look at step-by-step pictures of how the thing was made.

A few weeks back I posted about Extreme Tech's case mod competition, posting pics of the Dragon Case mod, which was a thing of beauty. But this, this is just freakin cool, a PC case that looks like an Atlas Mech. Look at that thing! Hit the jump for more pics of this case that took more than a year to build.

<![CDATA[WoW That's A Cake]]>

Wow, just wow. I've seen my share of amazing cakes in my days on Kotaku, but this one really takes the... OK, I'm not going to say that. But it really is a cool cake. II especially love the little chains on the bottom of the axes.

The cake was made by a WoW addict's girlfriend who also happens to be a spectacular cake maker.

<![CDATA[Fan Made Wii Commercial: Somebody Give This Guy A Job!]]> Fan made creations always range from the sublime to the ridiculous. This one definitely falls into the former category. This was made for the "Win a Wii" contest put on by Xataka.com and is based on the PS3 SIXAXIS ad with the eggs and the ravens. Bravo, ciclopez, we hope you won!

<![CDATA[Amazing Ultima V/Dungeon Siege Mod Hits]]> lazarus.jpg

Consider it a Christmas present.

A team of hardworking volunteers have put together an amazing rework of Origin Systems Ultima V from 1987. The new version is in fact a mod built on the Dungeon Siege engine and features an enhanced storyline, characters and settings all based on the original game. It also includes new side quests, a deeper richer plot and enhanced dialogue, according to the site. Most importantly, the game looks freakin awesome.

The mod is a whopping 500 megabytes with 300 unique NPCs and hundreds of hours of play and it s free.

You can get it for your PC or Mac in English with French and German versions coming soon.

It took the team of 30 five years to put this free masterpiece together, so run out and buy a copy of the original Dungeon Siege or Legends of Aranna and then hop on over to the link to download the mammoth mod.

Congrats Team Lazarus and thanks for the pressie.
