I would just like to say that i seriously envy your clarity of understanding in the video game industry (and as it would appear by this bio, everything else). Today i was going to write something about why super Mario brothers is perfect, and how it could be compared to the successes and failings of other games, and looked on Kotaku to find every point i was going to make was already made by you. Your easy understanding of how something works and why it works is something i aspire to. i read your article on "can video games be our friends" and found that to be the most insightful look at gaming i had ever read, and now this one comes along and tops it. keep up the good work. that, and make a video game plz.

@dracosummoner: well, i have plenty of jobs. i just don't like most of them.

the questionably starred commenter who captains this particular thread seems to think that my certificate in journalism was my wannabe golden ticket into the CIA. not so! i also have degrees in chinese, russian, and farsi. that would be one way into the CIA! the certificate in journalism was mostly just for fun.

@trit: I don't think your computer setup is ergonomically correct... you should probably move your monitor six inches or so to the left, and put some books underneath it so it's at eye level. #about

This article disappoints me :-( and I'm not sure this Tim Rogers could ever understand why. Which sucks because it sounds like he's spent his entire life being able to understand things at a relatively fast pace.
