    Are we allowed to love both 30 Rock and Arrested Development? Those are the only two sitcoms I can think of that I've ever wanted to watch more than once.

    Well, maybe a "best of" Scrubs, too.


    The one thing they all have in common is: no laugh track.

    Canned laughter never makes jokes funnier, but when disproportionate (i.e. 99% of the time), it can definitely turn a mildly-funny joke (that would have made you smile) into the saddest failed attempt at humour.


    Rule of thumb: if a show needs to give viewers a cue for when to laugh, then it's probably not a very funny show.

    @BlueWizard422: Maybe your are willing to tell me what's to like about this show. I have seen only fractions of it, which incidently, not made me laugh at all. It seemed like a generic sitcom to me, with those taped-laughter inserts, much like Dharma and Greg.


    I dislike "stupid" humor shows and tend to like shows with "intelligent" humor and obscure references, in which i can reflect upon my age in a good way.
    But since i can always use more comedy in the sedentairy part of my existence...i ask you:


    ...What makes this show good?
