Apparently F.E.A.R. 2 devs Monolith didn't get the memo.

Witness F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origin multiplayer quality assurance guy Lucas Meyers battle his way valiantly through this terrible parody of "Walking In A Winter Wonderland", "Walking In A Deathmatch Wonderland". While it is truly painful to listen to, it at least contains some footage of F.E.A.R. 2 multiplayer.

And Christmas was going so well. Thanks a lot, Monolith!

<![CDATA[NCsoft West's Christmas Greeting Is Adorable]]> NCsoft West delivers this adorable little holiday greeting card, featuring little wooden Christmas toy versions of characters from City of Heroes, Lineage II, Guild Wars, and even the upcoming Aion: Tower of Eternity.

It almost makes me glad that Auto Assault failed, as an armed-to-the-grill road warrior vehicle wouldn't have fit in with this festive scene. Look at chibi Stateman. Isn't he just precious? And I'd daresay I like this look for the Aion and Lineage II characters much better than their cookie-cutter Korean MMO counterparts.

This really just makes me crave an MMO where players take up the roles of toys in a child's play room. There could be raids on pre-school recess, and fantastic journeys to the inside of the family mini-van. Perhaps I've just got toys on the brain. Christmas does that. Either way, Happy Holidays, NCsoft!

<![CDATA[Happy Holidays From Paradox Interactive]]> Paradox Interactive gains bonus points for holiday cheer, having delivered not one but three different holiday cards featuring artwork from their upcoming real-time strategy title, Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim.

Due out the first quarter of next year, Majesty 2 is the sequel to Cyberlore's Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim, which was an RTS featuring a purposefully clichéd fantasy role-playing realm. All of the old fantasy standards are included, including hulking ogres, creepy skeletons, and dashing rogues, all of which are represented in these three cards, suitable for sharing with your loved ones, who will probably look at you funny and mouth the word "Okay" slowly when you turn around.

Still, it's the thought that counts, isn't it?

<![CDATA[A Holiday Video From Raving Rabbids]]>

Cards? Ubisoft don't need no stinking cards! They let video, and a freaky looking rabbid with a penchant for screaming, do their well wishing for them.

<![CDATA[Sure Square Enix Cares, And Here's The Card To Prove It]]> While certain guest writers might want to try and prove differently, Square Enix is full of people who care, as evidenced by this lovely Kingdom Hearts greeting card.

It's a bit on the minimalistic side as far as holiday cards go, but as any giant, squealing, and possibly hairy Kingdom Hearts fan will tell you, all you need is Sora dressed up in a Santa costume and your holiday wishes will all come true. Well now I have Sora in a Santa costume, and in three days - a pony.

Let's just open up this baby to see what surprises await us on the inside of Square Enix's holiday heart.

Aw, from our hearts to yours! Okay sure, that's just three signatures there, but those three signatures represent Square Enix's specially-bred caring squad. Those three people have enough caring in them to represent an entire international operation and still have some caring leftover in case some sort of emergency comes up.

Also, they combine to form a giant robot named Careotron. He fights for justice. That's just how Square Enix rolls.

<![CDATA[A Beary Atlus Christmas Card]]> Atlus steers away from their regular mascot Jack Frost this year in order to make way for the new face of Christmas cards, Persona 4's Teddie.

While not quite as spectacular as last year's Atlus holiday greeting card, this year's offering makes up for it in form factor and sheer marketing value. The inside of the card, which can be seen below, features signatures from the whole Atlus USA team, along with the groan-inducing greeting, "Beary Happy Holidays from the Atlus Family." Did you guys really have to go there? The grizzly pun was the polar opposite of what I expected. That was really quite unbearable. I can't bear it! I thought you guys prided yourselves on high koala-ty! It was so overbearing! Why didn't you send one to Adam Bear-enblat?

There, I'm done.

<![CDATA[A Fallout Holiday]]> Nothing says Happy Holidays better than a Santa-Hat festooned Mr. Andy sawing through colorfully wrapped presents like he's looking for a Mr. Gutsy.

Brought to you by the folks at Bethesda and their deliciously deep reimagining of Fallout.

<![CDATA[SuperVillain Says Happy Holidays... Or Else!]]> SuperVillain, I love those guys. True story:

Back in 1883, or whenever it was we Kotaku attended our first E3 (it was just Mike and I at the time), the SuperVillain guys emailed us to see if we wanted shirts from their still-to-be-formed company. They taunted us with how amazing the shirts were, lavished on the detail about the wonderful design and then never delivered... mostly because we were too busy to meet up with them.

Now thousands of years later, SuperVillain sends us not just this sweet 2008 holiday card, but a bonus 2007 one too. Sweet. Thanks Josh.

<![CDATA[Tecmo Passes The Football Card]]> When I think of Tecmo, I think of a lot of games. You've got Ninja Gaiden. You've got Dead or Alive. You've got Super Swing Golf.

And yes, you have Tecmo Bowl.... as seen depicted in this staff photoreffic Christmas card that has me singing the cast member call out from old school Mickey Mouse Club in my head.

There's Johnny! And Ryan! And Kamo!

Or the potential for donations. Where to? Why to Baird's Tapir Project which aims to save the wild Tapirs of Costa Rica of course.

The first card of the season? I'm pretty sure that envelope will tip off who it came from?
