I live in Detroit, the biggest surprise is that the police arrived on time after being called to actually prevent something from happening.

The most popular "how to" is all kinds of sad.

The internet cannot teach you how to kiss. Trust me.

Guess the reason for Crossword having such a big hit from October On is from all the college students, like myself, who need something to take our attention away from our final papers...

On a related note, I was checking out if Zoom Player or some other free media player could play region-specific dvds without locking out my drive so I entered "Can you" into google and paused to think a moment how best to phrase the question. The no.3 top search?

"Can you get pregnant by getting fingered?"

    Oh, how I laughed.

Anywho, more on topic, It'd be interesting to see the top reasons for these rating so high in searches. At a guess, I'd say Ghostbusters was texture related or release date related. Bakugan was a "What the fuck is this?" search and Twilight was a "Where do I buy this! Is there one of these? Do I get like a free poster or something with the game?" search.

In reply to Merry X-mas: Get The Witcher For $20
This is not the best price I've seen for The Witcher, but with all the chatter about Dragon Age: Origins lately, I just wanted to throw in my $0.02 that this game is worth picking up even at $20. I enjoyed DA:O but the plot (poison-drinking monster hunters!), the game world, the "choice system," even the alchemy crafting system regularly made me think, "Wow, The Witcher did this so much better."

After all of the Steam Black Friday sales, $20 feels like a lot for a digital download.

My rule of thumb has always been that if it's a digital copy, it needs to be cheap - really cheap - for me to give up the peace of mind I get from owning a physical copy.

I hate how cleancut the world is these days. I love having a beard but nowadays it's seen as grubby or bumlike. I demand this stops now. Men like myself and "Cowboy" should have the freedom to grow awesome beards and not be persecuted! A great beard is a sign of a great man!

Plus, you can stroke them thoughtfully!

Perhaps one day the beard wearers of the world will once again live through "the glory days" of openly sporting there man pride upon their faces. Perhaps not, but fuckers like Zach Galifianakis (that's right I copied his name from IMDB) aren't helping our cause. Castro ruined the beard I swear just like Hitler ruined the Charlie Chaplin mustache.

If you don't have this game for PC and enjoy RPGs, pick this up. It's a gem of an RPG and I find it's far too overlooked.

I'm really looking forward to the second game and I hope CD Projekt can deliver as compelling an experience as they did with this.

@-MasterDex-: Completely agree. The Witcher is one of the best RPGs I've played in years, and - if you get your hands on the Enhanced Edition - one of the best value deals you can get. I picked it up for £20, and so that £20 netted me the game (much improved over the first release), one soundtrack CD and another "Inspired by..." CD, the first Witcher short story, and two Making of DVDs. Not bad!

@PoweredByHentai: Steam only recognise games bought through it as Steam games. That is, it will appear in the 'Community' tab and Steam profile, and update automatically. You can, however, launch any game on your PC through Steam. This will allow you to access the Steam overlay while playing to browse websites or communicate with your friends.

@syafiqjabar of Mars: I've only ever bought one game from D2D (woo for £5 sales) and it installed in Steam.
So I can now run it just like any normal Steam bought game.
So its not always the case with D2D games that they will be their own thing.

@MDog: The great thing is that if you don't get the enhanced edition, you can still get everything from the enhanced edition. I got the game before the Enhanced Edition was released and I thought "Feck it! I should have waited" but found that out! It's really cool they did that.

@syafiqjabar of Mars: There are certain games, especially newer games that can be added to Steam even if you bought the game through retail. Unreal Tournament 3 is an example. It doesn't require steam whatsoever but I was able to activate my key on Steam and download and patch it via Steam.

@Alcoves: Some games are added to Steam even if you buy them at retail. Any Valve games do this, but also others like Saint's Row 2, Modern Warfare 2 and Dawn of War 2.

Some retail games that have CD keys can have the CD key activated through Steam, so you have a physical copy and a downloadable one.
