Maybe it's time for me to give Star Wars Galaxies another chance. Sony Online Entertainment and LucasArts just announced a new game pack for the massively multiplayer online game.

Star War Galaxies: The Complete Online Adventures comes with Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, Jump to Lightspeed, Rage of the Wookiees, and Trials of Obi-Wan. The pack, which hits this November for a mere $30, will also include a personal AT-RT for in-game use and a DVD packed with concept art, interviews, book excerpts, movie featurettes, trailers and a demo of Star Wars: Empire at War for the PC.

The two companies also announced that subscribers to their game will receive a "series of game updates that are scheduled to be released by LucasArts and Sony Online Entertainment throughout 2006."

It's now or never. I have a sneaking suspicion that if this doesn't revive the failing MMO, it will be back to the drawing board time. Brian Crecente
