Man, now I want to go the prison. They have all the good games! And they have it so easy — inmates just get to sit around and play Star Ally all day and get shanked in the yard. Right, shanking — maybe it's not so great being in prison.
But it's getting better! Inmates in Oregon can purchase plug-and-play consoles (think mall kiosk NES knock-offs) with 50 embedded games and a mounted LCD TV if they behave themselves. Plus they get "attend cell-block ice-cream socials". Man, jail is so sweet!
The video game/television purchase program has been a success thus far, decreasing the number of day room brawls that always ensue when someone wants to play Space Castle and someone wants to watch Oprah.
