The Blue Shoe Experiment

DSC00636.JPG

When Ash and I showed up at the Nintendo suite to check out their games, we were told we had to either remove our shoes or slip blue footies over them if we wanted to play Wii Fit. I was too lazy to take my shoes off and kinda like the idea of wearing hairnets on my feet, so I decided to go with the footies. Ash followed suit.

After wrapping up our time with Wii Fit we decided to leave the footies on. We were about to go interview Shigeru Miyamoto and I wanted to see if he noticed... he didn't. Not even when I stretched my legs out and sort of jiggled my feet around during the interview. But it wasn't just Miyamoto, no one noticed the things. I went to a Sony gathering of developers with Kaz Hirai, Jack Tretton and a bunch of fellow bloggers: No one noticed. I walked back and fourth between hotels: No one noticed.

I'm sitting at a table in front of a giant window in the Lowes right now, footies on, and no one seems to notice. In fact the only one who spotted the baby blue shoe covers was AOL's Libe Goad, who noticed them about two seconds after we started talking.

Either no one is very observant or everyone is secretly laughing at me... yeah.
