Yes, Make Annoying Bikini Idol In White Knight Chronicles

Ah, yes, Yuko Ogura. Currently the owner of a meat house chain, the bikini model was the former "face character" for SEGA Japan. She also claims to be from outer space and speaks with a phony high pitched voice! (Supposedly this is her real voice.) More »

Pretty Girl? Now SEGA's New Arcade Image Character Is A Pretty Boy

The new SEGA arcade "image character" has begun his SEGA arcade image character duties! Aren't you excited? I'm excited. (You should be excited.) To review, previous image characters include MEGUMI, Yuko Ogura (twice!) and Satomi Ishihara. The new SEGA arcade image character is Jpop boy band singer Haruma Miura (pictured), breaking the string of females before him. As SEGA's image character, his face will be plastered all over SEGA's domestic arcades, perhaps enticing more females to venture inside. Says Miura: More »

Former Sega Campaign Girl "Live Face" Mask

Just because space cadet Yuko Ogura is no longer Sega's "image character" doesn't mean we can't post non-news about her. Oh no. Once a SEGA spokesperson, always a SEGA spokesperson! Above is a an official Yuko Ogura LIVE MASK. Just take a gander at that! Are you creeped out? We are totally creeped out. And it takes a lot to creep us out. More »

    SEGA's New Spokesmodel

The SEGA "image character" daisy-chain goes something like this: MEGUMI, Yuko Ogura (twice) and now Satomi Ishihara. Ishihara is best know for her work in Pocky commercials. Well, that's how I know her. She'll be appearing in TV spots, on the SEGA website and on posters and banners. About her predecessors: bikini model and actress MEGUMI is sassy and opinionated, while fellow model and weirdo Yuko Ogura is annoying, claiming to be from outer-space. Ishihara is cute but seems, well, kind of bland. Same goes for SEGA's new arcade slogan: "Welcome to SEGA... With Smile." Wonder how long it took the marketing wizards to come up with that one.
