<a href="http://kotaku.com/assets/resources/2008/03/questionaut.jpg"></a> I don't remember learning modules being this good when I was a munchkin: <i>Samorost</i> creators <a href="http://www.amanitadesign.com/">Amanita</a> have put together a lovely game for the BBC, designed for 11 year olds. <i>Questionaut</i> is point and click, very pretty, and is tripping up adults left and right (that's what happens when you get far removed from your junior high school years and the concepts contained within, I guess). It's short and worth taking for a spin for the lovely environment alone, even if finding 20% of 140 is a bit below your intellectual level. <a href="http://kotaku.com/368406/juvenile-timewaster-of-the-day-questionaut" title="Click here to read more about Juvenile Timewaster of the Day: Questionaut">More&nbsp;&raquo;</a>

<a href="http://kotaku.com/assets/resources/2008/03/machinarium1.jpg"></a>Ah, Samorost. <a href="http://kotaku.com/gaming/samorost/samorost-2-out-142257.php">So beautiful</a>! So woefully underappreciated by the gaming public at large. Maybe machinarium, the Samorost team's latest outing, will fare better. It's a "full-scale" adventure game for the PC, and should be out later this year. More info is coming "sooner or later", so for now, pass the day away gazing at these gorgeous screenshots. <a href="http://kotaku.com/363380/machinarium-from-the-makers-of-samorost" title="Click here to read more about Machinarium, From The Makers of Samorost">More&nbsp;&raquo;</a>

<a href="http://www.kotaku.com/gaming/samorost2.jpg"></a>If you haven't seen or played <a href="http://nlp.fi.muni.cz/~xsvobod4/amanita/samorost/intro.swf">Samorost</a>, you've missed out. A one-man project, <cite>Samorost</cite> is a web game: ethereal, weird, completely gorgeous and just a bit compelling. Part <em>Myst</em>, part <em>Le Petit Prince</em>, it takes some self-control to play as the story unfolds at its own pace, not yours. But it's worth it. <a href="http://kotaku.com/142257/samorost-2-out" title="Click here to read more about Samorost 2 Out">More&nbsp;&raquo;</a>
