This sounds like it'll dog Resident Evil 5 right up to the release date. We had Capcom/RE5/Microsoft exclusivity rumors going back to February and they were shot down then. Well, Videogaming247 this past week said a little birdie told them Capcom had "some big things to reveal at E3," in mid-July. No comments from either side, no offers to raise the share purchase price or extend the deadline, no Mark-Gastineau sack-dances by Take-Two's board — in short, no comment from either side. Looks like after you upset Nintendo Europe with all that mod-chip talk, it went crying to mommy and told on you. Unhappy modders on the forum, Hacken.cc have recently found out that the newer version of the Japanese NTSC/J Wiis have had the three pins removed that enable mod chips to be attached. This month's Game Informer says that a black Xbox 360 with larger 120GB hard drive, HDMI output and an HDMI cable will retail for approximately US $479. It does not include HD-DVD playback. Well the good news is that developer ZootFly has confirmed with IGN that the Ghostbusters game footage that saw heavy circulation yesterday was in fact actual footage from an Xbox 360 game they are developing. It has to get bigger, you realize. There are rumors swirling that Microsoft is working on a 100GB hard drive. Website Game Inside is reporting that Microsoft in a recent Korean version of X06, the new HDD will be released in March in Korea and potentially elsewhere. This would be a big boast for the console's current 20GB hard drive and help it compete with the PLAYSTATION 3's 60GB one. iRiver G10 was slated to be released in Korea this past August. It didn't happen. The company has been facing financial troubles, changed management and apparently put their Wi-Bro networked G10 portable on hold. Apparently, this is indefinite as all their Wi-Bro related product development has stopped, and the new management has announced the company will be focusing primarily on mp3 players.
