Mark off Australia as another country that's been Wii'd. How well is the machine doing? According to Nintendo, it's to fastest selling game console in the region. Bundled with Wii Sports, over a hundred thousand consoles have been sold since the Wii went on sale last December. Nintendo's Rose Lappin says:

We promised that we would bring gaming to the masses. I think this is proof that we are heading in the right direction... Wii Sports is still performing very well as a primary vehicle to encourage non-gamers towards trying out the Wii experience
