Rock Band on Wii? It's a total "no brainer." Sure, you might need a couple of brains to design, code, test, license, manufacture and market the thing, but beyond that? It practically creates itself! But why hasn't it happened yet? The game has already appeared on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 2, so why isn't EA betting on the little white horse? While Harmonix's own Alex Rigopolus has said the Wii has "enormous potential for music games" and rumors have pointed to EA itself interested in such a product, it has yet to materialize in physical or announcement form. GamePro got the update from EA themselves today, who decided to decline confirming that it exists and opted not to announce Rock Band Wii via the magazine. More »

It looks like High Impact Games' portable take on the Ratchet & Clank series may be the latest PSP game to get a PlayStation 2 port. A listing for Ratchet & Clank Size Matters for the PS2 was uncovered by the eagle eyed staff at Joystiq today, one which points to the game shipping for the console February of next year. It's listed at $29.99, ten dollars cheaper than the PSP original. More »

With almost every game announcement comes the cry from at least one gamer "Why isn't this on the Wii?" Take Valve's Portal, for example. It may seem like a perfect fit, what with the game's emphasis on pointing at things and pressing buttons, but according to head marketing honcho Doug Lombardi, there's "nothing in product" at Valve.
