Two is better. The first is just blurred to compensate. (I guess some of you like blur)

no, its all just effects aesthetics and filters to give that blur look. i think they changed it for more details to shown.

@darktorns: correct, although the first one looks more pleasing to me, the filters are used to mask missing details. the second shot clearly has these details and is showing it.
