<![CDATA[yamamoto114 commented on Call of Duty 5 To Feature "New Military Theater"]]> You know, I think this is how it works.

CoDA gets released by Infinity Ward.

Then Treyarch starts working on CoDB.

Then, at EXACTLY the same time, Infinity Ward is working on CoDC.

Meaning, they both begin development at EXACTLY the same time. But instead of forcing people to wait three years, they have Treyarch release their game a year and a half to partially satiate the audience.

Not sure if that's it, but it could be. Just a thought.

<![CDATA[yamamoto114 commented on Chair Snags Rights To Ender's Game]]> Well, at least this game is under the direct supervision of Card himself. And look at Advent Rising. Great game. Wasn't a commercial success, but that's the game that came out of Card and Chair working together. Undertow is also a helluva lot of fun, so I have a lot of faith in Chair to make a great game out of this wonderful book.

<![CDATA[yamamoto114 commented on GoldenEye XBLA Shitcanning Was Nintendo's Fault?]]> To all of you who keep saying "Nintendo should protect their property", stop and smell the blood-stained roses for a few seconds. Because Nintendo's being so arrogant, NONE OF US, yes, NOT EVEN YOU, get the game. In essence, we ALL lose. Drop your fanboyism for a few minutes, because you can bet that if Nintendo doesn't let Microsoft do it, Microsoft sure as hell won't let Nintendo do it.

How come we can't all just come to an agreement that benefits all gamingkind, instead of arrogantly and aggressively defending a couple pieces of silicon in a plastic box?

<![CDATA[yamamoto114 commented on Counter-Strike Online's 170,000-Player Beta Weekend]]> IT IS BE "SUPER COUNTER-STRAIKU PANAGO ONLINE MMORPG" IS MEGA GOOD FOR KOREA GAME VIDEO PLAYER MAN

Yeah. That's why it's called Counter-Strike Online. Choose from either Dustano, Cobalia, or Azteca as your home server, then play CS and win to earn CSilver, then spend it on an ultra-cute kawaii skirt for your Counter-Terrorist avatar which ups your EVA stat by 2 points. Or buy CSCash so you can get that ultra-stylish cash-only pink flowery M4-A1 skin with a delicious hint of orange. There's also the plastic surgery makeover section, where you can get big saucer eyes on your character. HEHE KOREA MUCH LIKE ^^

No, seriously. All you need to do in Korea to market a game is to throw in big anime eyes, a couple miniskirts, have it release in seasons, throw "Online" into the game's title, and YOU'RE SET.

<![CDATA[yamamoto114 commented on TGS Kids Corner Totally Suitable For Kids]]> Catcher in the Rye was a great book. So was Mockingbird. Clearly no one's read Ender's Game either. Look at how much of a mess Ender is, just because he knows pretty much everything there is to know about adult reality at like, what, six?

If I were exposed to adult life at like six years old, I would probably have jumped off a cliff. One day I'm playing with Legos, running around like a happy carefree idiot, celebrating my birthday by playing tag and setting random stuff on fire in the street, and pancing that girl from English class. Next day I find out what that thing between my legs is for, that my home country bombed my native country twice, that terrorists are out to get us, that the Counter-Terrorists don't always win, and that kids my age were getting burned alive by the masses in Europe about five decades ago. Not stuff I need to know at six. Or eight, nine, or ten for that matter. That's what junior high, sex ed, and my older brother are for.

<![CDATA[yamamoto114 commented on Leaked Halo 3 Manual?]]> Ooh, just noticed that on the Table of Contents, the Weapons section of the manual is actually three pages, and since the manual only shows two, you can probably bet the rest of the weapons and grenades and stuff are around there somewhere. Personally though, I would have split the Brute weapons and the original Covie weapons from each other. Meh.

]]>
<![CDATA[yamamoto114 commented on Leaked Halo 3 Manual?]]> @Termisk8er:
Equipment is on page 15. There's kind of, oh, I dunno, a table of contents for reference?

The flamethrower isn't listed because the flamethrower is one of those really big weapons that pull you into third-person view, like the detachable turret and the missile pod. Notice that neither of those weapons are on the weapons page, so most likely it's on another one, probably Equipment. The grenades are probably on that other page as well.

]]>
<![CDATA[yamamoto114 commented on Leaked Halo 3 Manual?]]> lol! Read the weapons page. "Spartans often look at opposing forces as a kind of mobile weapons cache." Bungie's sense of humor never gets old.

]]>
<![CDATA[yamamoto114 commented on Leaked Halo 3 Manual?]]> @LucasKane: Yeah, Forge exists. Lots of press about it. Check it out. It looks like a lot of fun.

]]>
<![CDATA[yamamoto114 commented on Leaked Halo 3 Manual?]]> It looks completely legit to me. Either that, or really damn professional. To make a correction though, the first Halo's needler was only one-hand. In fact, if one hasn't forgotten, all weapons from the first Halo are one-handed, making the above impossible. Only Halo 2 had dual-wieldable Needlers.

The recent mid-summer beta also had the Needler as well, but, like Halo 1, it was only single-handed. They decided to make it a one-handed weapon only. Most people are pretty satisfied with it. I was satisfied with it. It kicked ass, and about 50% of my games had the Needler as my Weapon of Choice.

Either way, you can probably bet this is a legit manual, because how else would anyone be able to procure weapon and character models as shown here?
