I recall reading an article long ago interviewing the developers of the original Tomb Raider and remember them being surprised at how many people were convinced they used motion tracking technology, and that how they insisted that all the motions from the original game were actually hand animated.
@ToiletNinjas: Believe it or not, I hold kind of an opposite point of view; I like to replicate the console experience on my more powerful pc so that the game is even better than before. What would be ideal IMHO would be an option for both optimized controller and k/m setups.
I've been looking for a good pinballgame on the iPhone. So far the only one I've found worth a flip (pardon the pun) has been Pinball Ride. Any other recommendations out there?
"Remember that one episode where Captain Kirk had to fight the man-bratwurst, and made his own horseradish sauce out of naturally occurring materials on an alien planet? Man, that was awesome."
I believe the episode you are referring to is "Devil In The Dark".

@Archaotic: The only hate most of these people feel is a hatred of what is happening to their country and how complacent their represented leaders have been over many years. They don't give a crap about what color someones skin is or who a person wants to have sex with.
And you know it.
Seriously, if you don't than you're just brainwashed beyond redemption.
@Archaotic: I would react angrily to the incredible amount of mis-information you list here, except that it makes me truly sad that you appear to sincerely believe it. I really hope that one day you might get to know some of these people on your own so that you can see for yourself how wildly misleading the media has been towards them.
...and a LOT of other things.
"Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh aren't doing much to improve the perceived validity of the modern conservative voice in America, either."
Why? Please provide real, political, factually contradictory examples. And I don't mean any pointless past substance abuse issues or other irrelevant smear tactics.
Although I take issue with some of Beck's overly impassioned and idealistic points of view, I have yet to be able to personally disprove any of his hard facts. Even his most outlandish theories are often startlingly absent of any serious, remotely logical alternative proposals. And then Rush, with his wildly opinionated conservative point of view on his perceived "evils" of liberalism seems to take extreme care not to label anyone of doing or being anything that they themselves don't already reveal to the general public entirely on their own. In the last few months, a frightening number of things have come to pass that I honestly thought he was insane to be predicting during the last presidential election. I'd say that does a LOT to improve his "perceived validity" as you put it.
I realize I'm putting myself waay out here as a target of ridicule and all because it's not "popular" to offer up support for either of these two on the internet, but I've really struggled to find honesty from the left/liberal/progressive movement regarding these particular figures. All I EVER see are broad generalizations like the statement above pushing forward that same old tried, tested, and unsupported point of view that these men are just liars, making everything up just to hurt others and get great ratings (which they do get)... and then... no facts to back it up - just pure, mostly venomous opinion.
And you're right about healthcare reform; most Americans DO want it. But not at the expense of losing our liberties and trashing our nation's economy even worse than it already is - which is exactly what this bill is going to do.
