one of the first games i remember getting tears from me was the end of Lunar Silver star story.

there is a scene in Suikoden 2 with Nanami that got me sad.

and both Ico and Shadow of the colossus got me close to tears.

I don't know if i completely agree with that statement. most of my family in Saudi Arabia are well off enough to own ps3s and 360s but do not have enough skill with the English language that they wouldn't need translations.

but yes, Arabs do game. I spent most of my gaming years in Saudi Arabia, and its not a new thing either. i had an atari, nes, genesis (my friend had an SNES, oh the fanboy battles we had) and a PS1 while i was living there.

I'd say its a pretty good market.

i have been gaming since the original NES, but i opted for the genesis during the next generation. and while I did play some rpg's on that system, it wasnt till Suikoden and the PSone that i really began to love the japanese RPG.

suikoden 1 was a fantastic game, but 2 blew me away. both of them are on my list of all time favorite games.

man, i actually remember playing that penguin adventure game when i was kid. i had completely forgot about it. never knew kojima worked on it.

i'd be much more at ease if stephen chow were directing. he was able to make shaolin soccer work. and really, would anybody think that concept would work if they had never seen the movie?

but him producing is a good thing.

im probably not gonna rush out to see this till i read a few reviews, but im not gonna rush to judgment.

personally, these first albums excite me very much. i've never listened to much judas priest. but the cars and the pixies are awesome! and i can imagine them being a lot of fun to play on rock band.

and to be honest, as much as nevermind will be fun to play, i'm much more ecstatic about doolittle.

and i think the pricing is more than fair. a lot more goes into getting these tracks rock band ready than goes into making a track available on itunes. if i have to pay a little more to have fun jamming out to some rockin' tracks with three of my friends, then so be it.

I would definitely vote for agro, the first horse i can think of in a game that i actually cared for. i feel that agro is the pinnacle of a gaming horse, and i am constantly comparing other horses to him. from how they are animated, to how they make me feel.

maybe i shouldnt think so much about gaming horses.

I understand being skeptical about this movie. and yeah, it could very well suck. but i dont really understand why every one is so angry right now. its just one picture. how can you tell what a movie is gonna be like from one picture. (or two i guess).

i have been playing AC and mass effect at the same time, though, very slowly, as i just havent had a lot of spare time. and i think both games are awesome and fun. both games have problems that could've been fleshed out, but what game doesnt?

I have to say, that i have been more frustrated with the problems in mass effect than i have been with the problems in AC. though ME definitely excels in the story and character development area.

I like both games a lot though. two experiences im glad im having.

shaolin soccer was loosely based on an old anime. and that movie rocked, so I have faith that mr chow can help this film out. would be better if he was directing i think, but I wont judge until I know more. could be fun as hell.

Vinyl isnt dead yet. Alot of indie bands still release album's on vinyl format as well as cd. so though its a much smaller cult market, there is still a place for vinyl.

now, its time for me to print this list out and go looking for more records to add to my collection.

like albo says, the song is not originally by johnny cash. its a traditional song thats been redone by many different folks. including cash, Elvis presley and Moby.

as far as the game is concerned. i'll just wait to till we get some gameplay impressions before i make any judgment.

huh. kind of funny that on the atari's 30th birthday, i'll be getting one equipped with an audio out and a synth cart. basically, someone figured how to make the 2600 into a synthesizer and it sounds pretty wicked.

blue dragon is the reason i bought my 360 and i'm not dissapointed with it. i wasnt expecting a crazy innovative game. i just wanted a well done jrpg, a genre i love, and one that doesnt have a huge presence on the xbox yet.
and i feel i got that, a well done jrpg. I enjoy the battle system and i've been having a lot of fun playing the game.
and hey, i like the boss battle theme.
but everyone's entitled to their opinion yea?
