Goodbye, Kotaku. It's been a lot of fun, had some great conversations here, and this place really did show me a lot about the world of gaming before anyone else. But, alas, here we are, at the worst format change I have ever seen any site go through. How unintuitive and just plain ugly it is, is something I just can't get over. If those 15 second ads are still here, too, then well... failure, is all I can say. Hope you don't lose too many readers, but then again I do, in slight hopes that you'll take that as a sign to roll this shit back to how it was....
If it's anything like BC2, i will be horribly disappointed. I mean, I know it won't be another BF2, but lets just hope the destructible environments aren't too crazy and the infantry fighting is way more refined. Also, if it doesn't match the scale of BF2, then it will be instant crap in my book. After BC2, though, and the fact that this will also be targeted at consoles, I'm not holding my breath.
I'm getting pretty damn sick of all these crossover promotions. Really, they were cool when they were few and far between. But it's getting excessive. I absolutely adore the game, but the flood of items is becoming so hard to manage. It's gotta stop eventually, but I just see it getting worse and worse...
@Pitchswitch: Agreed, the fallout games truly did shine in immersion. New Vegas, not so much, as you already kind of had a past you were connected to. I also totally agree with your halo statement.
I actually really dig this, I hated having to convert all my tf2 screenshots from that lame ass format to something more universal. now if i could just find time to play some vidya games...
okay, maybe i'll see it if she's in it. just for the eye candy....
on another note, somewhat unrelated... did anyone else find it disgustingly hot in the spirit, when she was dressed in that nazi uniform? yeah, fuct up I know... but they sure did dress sharp...

@DVD Player: Yeah, I think this is just a more "user friendly" way of doing the same thing, and being provided by the ISP's, it'll be more apparent to the parents who have no clue just how wonderful technology is and the things it can allow you to do on yer own.
