The litmus test will be whether the Big Three return to the show; remember it was the Big Three pulling out that caused the ESA to downsize the show in the first place.
Meh, another blogger whining to get something for free. If you like Windows 7 so much, pay for it.
@Toasticus: It's like Miller saying "Miller Lite has more taste than Bud Light."

Not *better* taste, or *more satisfying* taste, just More Taste. WTF does that even mean? How can one thing have "more taste" than another thing?

Having said that, I think you won't find many people who would argue that the 360 is the most versatile digital entertainment set-top device on the market today.

@UnnDunn: Trying again:

New Yorkers, add this to your Custom Maps, and stop whining.

@UnnDunn: Ah, Here it is.

New Yorkers, qwitcherbitchen.

A while ago someone made a custom NY transit layer for Google Earth that included all subway lines as well as PATH and some LIRR and Metro-North lines.

Dunno if that data is available on Google Maps somehow, but I'd wager it is.

I wonder how much Barack Obama has to pay to upgrade his songs, that he WOULDN'T have to pay if he were a Zune user...
@UnnDunn: And one more thing: Zune MP3s have no watermarks.
LOL!

All I can do is laugh. With Zune I can redownload any purchased track for free, and I automatically get the upgraded version if one is available.

AND I can pick and choose which tracks I want to re-download, OR I can re-download everything in one go.

(Oh, and purchased tracks on Zune are DRM-free 320kbps MP3s.)

Suck it iSheep.

@pinolo: Nothing much, since 90+% of the Zune library is sold as MP3 files.
I want one. Now.

That is all.

This video just keeps on giving every time you watch it.

"To conserve power, the screen goes black after 4 seconds."

XD

It's reasons like this for which I avoid cell contracts like the plague.

I have at&t gophone monthly prepaid. I make phone calls on my phone. iPhone can suck my wang.

@OMG! Ponies!: Wow. That's just... *groan*
If you can do this, you might as well just get a drill and a staple-gun and run some Ethernet, you lazy bastage.
My solution to BD+ is simple: don't buy Blu-ray. Fuck Sony.
@takemetoyourtoaster: If you have U-verse, you will be able to... soon. Whenever AT&T adds support for it.
As a Zipcar member, I have no interest in joining Hertz Connect. It feels so much like Netflix vs. Blockbuster all over again; the big incumbent trying to grab a piece of the market created by a scrappy upstart.

Not that Zipcar or Netflix are scrappy upstarts anymore, but you get my point.

Just looking at Hertz's Connect website, it's clear that while they've copied the Zipcar business model to a tee, and they've thrown in their "value-adds" such as the GPS and iPod ports, at the end of the day, they don't get what makes Zipcar so appealing, and their fledgling infrastructure can't compete with Zipcar's mature offering.

It depends a lot on the source material and the TV I'm viewing the material on.

In general, with "live action" sources shot on video (things like the local news) it is tough for me to tell the difference between 1080p and 720p. Especially on a smaller screen or on a CRT.

With material shot on film or computer-generated material, it is generally a lot easier to tell what's 1080p and what's 720p, especially on flat-panel displays, even at smaller sizes.

I can usually tell the difference between 720p and 480p though, no matter what.
