Ok, so I never check my profile and I just now saw that you wished me a happy birthday! So here's a very belated THANK YOU!

P.S. I've heard from numerous sources that New York Adorn (Adorns? Adorned? Something like that) (LES, I think?) is THE BEST place for tattoos AND piercings!

Hey New Yorkebels,

Where's a good place to get an ear cartilage piercing?

You make my day.

Poor Blake and the cows. How awful!

Hi, I never heard back from you as to if you got my jean's tips--my computer has been acting abit woonky, so let me know, and i will re-send them if necessary. Here is one more that i forgot--it is not at all glamerous--but here goes--sleep in you jeans. Somehow when you wake, your jeans will be bigger, I don't know if it is magic, but it really works. Hope you have some luck with my tips.

hey, i do consider myself a bit of a jeans guru--i have worked at a number of swanky boston boutiques. my new favs are william rast--i don't know what size you are, but i am a 12/14, and their size 32 fits great--a little tight at first, but wash them on cold, dry them till they are still a bit damp, put them on and do lunges,squats,etc--that will stretch them out almost a full size without the chance of ripping them open in the butt/thigh area.
Joe's jeans are great too, they are made with 2% elastin, which makes them really stretchy, and their "honey" cut is made for curvy gals.
my other fav is Paige Premium denim--they go up to a size 34 which translates into a size 18 or so. the 34's are really hard to find in stores, so go to their website for them (if that is around your size).
here are some great sites that carry all of these brands: revolveclothing.com, emoda.com,shoplastyle.com, nordstrom.com, zappos.com, dailydenim.com. anyway, these are all expensive jeans, so I hope i am not coming off as snooty, the only reason i have been able to afford them is cause i have gotten discounts.
no matter what brand you decide on, always look to see what the material combo is. 100% cotton will always fit smaller. look for cotton/polyurathane or cotton/elastin or cotton/spandex combos for stretch.

I will have the "Hello, my name is" nametags and Sharpies with me. Maybe I'll bring stickers, too, to make things extra fancy.

Notes from the underwhelmed on Jul 11, 2008

Stop making me hungry! I have nothing but Raisin Bran in the cupboard right now!

KittenFluff on Jul 11, 2008

ALSO! I saw a shirt today that said, "You've got a friend in cheeses."

I'll be in Hamilton NY (4 hrs nw NYC) Sunday to visit an excellent dairy farm that specializes in cheddar. I'll be thinking of you!
