"If they are necessary to understand the story, I don't see how being able to skip them is a bonus.
I don't have a pre-conception about how long cutscenes should be in a game, but if they FEEL too long, then they are NOT good enough.
Some posters here who have played the game (I still haven't) are saying the dialogues are poorly written and generally unable to impress anyone over 12 years old, which worries me, as it is the exact impression I got from the dialogues in MGS2.
To top it all, the actual gameplay is 3.5 hours long, and the rest up to 13 hours is cutscenes???
As much as I want to play this game, I think I'll pick it up at a discount from the bargain bin."
