I just don't support the roster so I'm not sure if I should support Sakurai with $50 saying "good job". When he didn't.

That and "Nintendo" and "online" don't go well together. This is Nintendo's first time doing something like this, and considering they're convinced their consumers are old and only want casual gaming baby-food spoonfed to them, they're probably surprised at the number of people logging on to play this. Lol.

You clone-whore it, you put in a robot no one wanted, and you ignore Krystal, King K. Rool, Midna, Geno, Megaman, etc.

Wolf is just another furry clone. He even uses the same final smash as Fox and Falco, when he never even USED a Landmaster in his games.

Also, if Peach could fight so well, she'd never get kidnapped. The stupid dainty princess couldn't fight a cold.

Sakurai MADE her into a true fighter.

If you actually lurked the internet, you'd know plenty of people easily designed and envisioned a functional Animal Crosser for Brawl.

We should have seen it coming though. In the 2+ years Sakurai had to make this game, he fanserviced by adding fun characters like Toon Link, but not making them original whatsoever, and borrowing clones from Melee.

I can totally see AC being thrown against the TV screen with that cringing look on his face XD

I can easily see him grinning as he skips across the stage using his weapons at disposal. Hell even Olimar doesn't attack directly, nor Pokemon Trainer. But they can't make AC work?

ROB was a DRIVER, not a fighter. Game & Watch was a fun and interesting addition. I've seen ROB in action and he looks very slow and clumsy, and hell, he's not even a video game character (just an NES gimmick). Unless you count ROB64 who's different.

Lucario's UP+B was shown.

@Masterage: It's a big deal when this might be the last Smash game ever, and so many people wanted Geno or Megaman and others.

I expected that if they were going to keep Mewtwo, they would improve him, and add Lucario as a completely different handling character. Fast and quick like Sonic perhaps. Hoping Lucario and Mewtwo would be two different characters, rather than lose Mewtwo and reincarnate him as Lucario.

As far as Ness/Lucas Marth/Ike, I wouldn't mind both of them being in, if it wasn't for the fact that they're too similar. Hell, Ness and Lucas have the SAME Final Smash. In 2+ years, Sakurai couldn't differentiate them a bit?

My point was, if you're going to have two similar characters in the game, why can't you make them completely different in the way they play/have moves?

And if you're going to add a character with lots of potential like Lucario, don't make him mimic Mewtwo.

I might have jumbled my thoughts a bit.

And yes it is.

His attacks and speed are nearly identical. His Up B is similar to teleport except it's physical and he dashes. He's nearly identical to Mewtwo, except in looks. Same for Toon Link and Link.

Also, want to know disappointment?

The stupidity of Sakurai.

- Instead of refreshing characters with new entities, like replacing Ness with Lucas, Marth with Ike, he puts in both and makes them too similar.

- He says Animal Crosser wouldn't fit because he's not a "fighter", but he puts in a stupid robot. He made Peach into a fighter, why not Animal Crosser?

- Instead of fixing the clones, with the past 2+ years he's had to develop this game, when Melee had much less time, he leaves them as is, and just adds gimmicks to the game, rather than worrying about the most important aspect of the game: the characters.

- Instead of keeping Mewtwo and improving him, and adding Lucario, they take out Mewtwo, and clone him into Lucario. Thanks. Another useless clone.

- Instead of adding Krystal, a unique Starfox representative, he puts in Wolf, another cloney furry with a gun. Thanks.

- Falco's FS is almost the same as Fox's. In 2+ years you couldn't think of something better?

- Jigglypuff's FS has nothing to do with something she's known for, like singing and drawing on people's faces angrily. Instead, she clones Gigabowser. Great.

- Clones are still vaguely the same.

- Toon Link, who had so much potential, is a Young Link reincarnation. Instead of bombchus and wind powers, he basically replicates TP Link.

- He creates a poll and collects the results of the most wanted characters in the game. He completely disregards half of the top-wanted characters, and replace their roster positions with Melee clones and ROB.

- No voice chat. DS has it but not Brawl? Tis a sad world we live in.

- Ganon doesn't use his sword? What the hell?

- Gimmicks and game features galore! But the roster is weak, and full of uninteresting and unimaginative movesets. Is this how you want to be remembered for possibly your last entry in the Smash series, Sakurai? Two Links, almost exactly the same, four Zelda representatives, MORE Mario representatives, but only one F-Zero and Metroid rep? There are many more characters that deserved a place in Brawl more than pathetic attempts to "surprise" us, like ROB.

- Remind me. What was that damn 3 month delay for? What exactly were you doing? ROB? Who in bloody hell at your office approved the creation of a character who isn't even a real character? Who doesn't do anything?

You disappoint beyond anything possible, Sakurai.
And to think, this is possibly your last Smash game.
You wanted to impress people so badly. You added so many gimmicks and features of things to add to Brawl, things that perhaps weren't even necessary, but just added to the experience. You were so caught up in things like stickers and sandbags, that you forgot what was most important. Refining, perfecting, honing, and creating an All-star roster, each character unique to the next, that would be remembered through the ages. Don't get me wrong, we have plenty of awesome characters, but alot of the characters ,movesets, stats, and clones, could have been mightily improved, and I think many would have rather you spent your time focusing on that than silly gimmicks. It's sad when your own fanbase can design, imagine, and create characters better than you can sometimes.

Consider me slightly disappointed...

Anyways....pre-orders are out. This game is going to be selling like hotcakes in a country that doesn't buy Wii games apparently, lol.
