@Strangelove: Unfortuneatly this is a gaming site, and most gamers like to complain. Most of us are a very unrefined lot. Hopefully one day most of us with start to be thankful for things in our games rather than just go with the first instinct to rip them apart.

It's Fallout 3 on steriods and meth. I will get it for sure, but not sure if it will be better than Fallout 3, or my GOTY BORDERLANDS.
Zzzzzzzzzz...wow that was some great music set to a really boring video. Honestly that doesn't even look any better then something like HALO3 (which I don't like). I'm definitely getting CRYSIS 2, I just think something a bit more intense would have been more effective. Every other video for this game has been great so I'll go off those. This one I'll forget I ever saw.

It better not be a Fallout game, I just sold my 2nd Wii on Friday because I NEVER played it. I'm hooked on Fallout 3 like it were Jet or Buffout.
I beat this and then stopped playing it, I played online maybe twice. Nothing wowed me. Anyone wanna buy my Killzone 2?
maybe if I played this game, I don't know what it is about the PS3. Aside from MLB 09 the show, and Uncharted I just don't keep playing their games. I think it's the controller and the way the games respond (or lack there of) to those wonky sticks.
Dear PS3 owners,
STOP WHINING, and buy a 360 or PC. I have both consoles and knew buying it for the PS3 would be a horrible decision. BLAME SONY, stop talking at Bethesda about it. Maybe next game.

sometimes whining doesn't come across as being funny... this is one of those times. C'mon KOTAKU, you're better than this. When a game is making real strides to fix what valid complaints have warranted.

I have nostalgia pains so bad, I spent so much time playing this game, drawing StreetFighter icons, programing sweet songs. Oh man please VIRTUAL CONSOLE, give me a reason to buy Wii points again.
The first RE game I ever played was RE4 on the Wii, the controls worked perfectly. After the RE5 trailer last year I was so excited for this game. Especially after the PR guy from CAPCOM said on an XBOX Live video that "you can move and shoot in this game". Then I played the demo and blooooop...buzzkill. I was cursing CAPCOM, and wanted bad things to happen to RE5 and it's makers, then Gamestop came up with their $19.99 deal, and they got me hook, line, and sinker. I played the game through chapter one last night, and through act 1 of chapter two this morning.
Now...
- I'm completely fine with the controls now.
- I'm not regretting my purchase.
- I'm having fun when playing it which is a heck of a lot more then I can say for most games out there.
I think the reason I hated the demo was because you get no ammo, and crappy weapons and are faced up against minibosses. In the actual game you are not given the short end of the stick like that.
I'm not a fanboy of the series at all. I'm having a lot of fun, and that has only been in single player. i'm really pumped to play some co-op. Concerning the single player mode, just act like Sheva is suitcase and nothing more. Only let her have enough ammo to keep her out of trouble, and thats it.
To CAPCOM, I'm sorry for all of the awful things I said, can we still be friends? Until LostPlanet 2 comes out though, then I want nothing to do with you because there is nothing about WALKING SLOWLY through giant maps that sounds appealing. Speed up the friggin charatcers will ya?
KORORINPA...it's been way too long since the first game. It looks like they've made smart improvements, which is more than can be said for RE5, what a let down. This will be the first Wii game I've bought in a long time.
considering that every FPS game I play on the PS3 feels WONKY at best, yes I may look at this...IF...it's around $45 dollars. If not, then no way. I always buy my games on XBOX360 anyway unless they're exclusives. I.E. KILLZONE 2 = WONKY still after about 30 x & y axis adjustments.
BUST A MOVE is one of the best party games ever. Also ROCKBAND and Guitar Hero World Tour. Also any shooter that can be split screen 4 ways. But the #1 party game is 'Scene It' everybody loves having a buzzer in their hand. Men, Women, young and old all love 'Scene It'.
