Umm, since this man isn't a child psychiatrist nor practicing physician of any kind, why do we give a fuck about what he says with regards to parenting? He calls cops stupid when he doesn't know the facts and here's another fact he's not aware of, not all kids who play a lot of games are fat. P.S. If I am an adult with a child, a naive president is one of the last people I need lecturing me on how I should raise it. Why can't he just shut up and gtfo?
@Mitchrico619: Perhaps you should think before you speak, if Microsoft never took the risk and succeeded, you would have some other company's OS running on a ton of machines in the world. It is THEIR product and if you don't like it, get Linux, get OS X, get whatever the hell else is out there. Make your own OS and then complain to the EU that MS isn't allowing your OS pre-installed as a choice over Windows and see how far you go. Only in socialist Europe, and perhaps soon enough in the USA, this kind of bullshit can happen. Who's to say those EU fuckheads are satisfied? "Well...I don't want just Wordpad, I want a competing word processor built in... And that windows calculator, I don't want to be forced to use it...have them offer this calculator also." If people want another browser, shocker, they can go download another one themselves. That is an option that MS did give to you socialist bastards and to all of us.
@SpyMagician: That would make sense if you don't take into account the fact that companies such as Apple may start working on the newest model before the current one is even released. People knowing what's coming out in the future from their favorite companies would cause them to seriously reconsider their purchases. If I knew the 3GS were to come out, would I have bought a 3G? Who knows. I personally don't feel this is in any part Apple's responsibility unless we learn that this pressure was applied specifically from Apple. Unfortunately for them, many consumers will see it that way and most likely force a change of manufacturer which may cost Apple who knows how much and potentially delay some of their products. We have no problems messing with the market to the point that it becomes not only viable but beneficial for companies to hire offshore manufacturers but then when those same manufacturers do something like this we bite our at-home companies in the asses for it. sigh
Imagine, all of your friends are models with digitally distributable headshots...wow...
@CYST!: Since when was world-wide exposure "free"? Money isn't the only way to compensate someone.

Slavery is entirely different, those people had NO CHOICE to do the work they did. An artist doing work for google knows the conditions in advance, that they will not be paid, but their art may be exposed world-wide. If you think it's not worth doing, don't do it, it's that simple.

I can't believe how many people are calling this "evil." There happens to be no universal measure of evil, in case any of you have never thought about it. In my opinion, this is just business. Put an offer out, if no one bites, google learns that it wont get free art for what it's offering and will have to make a new offer, that's the free market, and if they bottled it, I would binge on it for years.

Us paying and subsequently playing and enjoying games helps supply jobs to hundreds of thousands of people. Developers, publishers, retailers, marketers, on and on all rely on video games thriving to maintain their income. If he believes that helping put food in people's bellies all over the world while enjoying ourselves is not helping humanity, then this post does not deserve the "kid genius" tag.
This makes sense, it's the engrish translation of Blink, that guy blinks at the end, mystery solved...

Brinku!

I think this move is more political than anything else. Politicians need the TV to garner the support of the people, I mean, almost all the networks and cable news channels are sucking at Obama's teet so if 6.5 million are suddenly no longer being hipnotized by the teleleftists, that's a problem for a majority of our congress and our president.

For the republicans, well, the party is limping along, dropping their values along the way begging to be liked once more, sad.

Free broadband for all? Umm I ain't paying for your porn addiction, Dan.
@marc_with_a_c: So you are ok with giving away money to a multi-millionaire because he does charity? Well shit, all I have to do is volunteer at a soup kitchen once a week and you guys should foot my new all-you-can-eat cell phone bill, amiright?
Oh great, more unecessary spending, hip hip...
BAH! Capitalism! I HATE SUCCESSFULL COMPANY! I IS JEALOUS!
@vladdybear: Way to assume vladdybear, I personally despise McCain's policies and if not for the fact that his name isn't Barack Obama, I would not have voted for him.

In fact, you don't have to 'love' McCain to hate socialism which, is one of the world's most epic fails since the dawn of mankind.

Most hard working, rational people realize we just hired a demagogue noob to run the country upon his steed of rhetoric and false hope. He's going to try and repeat FDR's presidency and like FDR, he too will most likely expand government to a size we have never seen before all the while failing to revive the economy with these ridiculous gov't projects and bailouts.

Lol bubble, good one Matt. The real bubble is bloated as ever and as long as you guys continue to drink Obamaid it will continue to grow.

Socialist failure = Happy sisedi

When they showed the old man in his chair, I though, "when you're not mo-capping for Resident Evil 4, get comfy and watch the boob tube for a bit!"
Luckily for the mail man Apple has yet to move onto dog-based OS'...
The outter shell looked like fake plastic granite, tsk tsk Sony, can't cough up for the real deal?
Why isn't that a new android phone?
For a second, Wilson, at the beginning of the video, I thought you were the voice navigation and am now just impressed by your monotone capabilities, they should hire you. :)
