I've had bad luck with this crap. First of all I've got a 570 superclocked and a phenom ii x4. A few months ago, I downpatched my steam copy to 1.0.4 and installed icenhancer 1.3. It just made everything unbearably bright especially the cutscenes, which were basically yellow. So I said screw it. Then I saw this article today and realized they released a 2.0 for this mod. I installed it with a 1.0.7 version and it really doesn't look that great and made the sky red. There was a folder included with it to fix the red sky issue, but the sky stayed red. I'm done with this.
I have quite honestly never seen someone so thoroughly miss the point that I'm not even going to dignify you with an actual response. I've already said what I wanted to say and I'd just be repeating myself. Waste of time.
Wow look at you and your sense of entitlement. You believe you're entitled to buy games used or pirate them like you have some kind of RIGHT to play them? You're exactly what's wrong with gaming today and you're why developers create things like DRM and online passes. Developers need to profit in order to make their next great game, and you contribute nothing to that. If everyone had the same thought process as you, games wouldn't even exist. Games cost what they cost, and it's a privilege, not a right, to be able to afford to play them.
They sure are. A game like Battlefield 3 where everyone wants to play multiplayer is one thing, but a singleplayer game like Mass Effect 3 is likely going to be number one on every torrent site.
The explanation about why they won't be using Steam is complete bullshit. They don't seem to mind that Sony and ESPECIALLY Microsoft have "adopted a set of restrictive terms of service which limit how developers interact with customers to deliver patches and other downloadable content." There is no other publisher that has made these claims about Steam being so restrictive. Oh and they also just happen to have a store that's in direct competition with Steam. They should just admit that it's just a conflict of interest for them since Steam is the largest competitor to their own store.
what is 3G on a vita going to be used for? I'm guessing online gaming would be too laggy with 3G latency so what am I missing? sending messages or trophy syncing? people are going to pay $15 or $25 for that?
think about how sad it will be in five years when there are enough cod games to fill up the whole top ten. it's interesting (or sad?) to note that all of these franchises started ten or more years ago except gears and red dead.
Why couldn't it just be called Metal Gear Rising? What does revengeance even add to it? Right after I typed it just now, I noticed that the spellchecker underlined it in red. It is in fact not a word.
I don't get it. Why?! Sony and Valve are the good guys. I get that they were pissed about linux on the PS3 and whatnot, but Valve only makes amazing games and provides a great service. I would think hacker computer nerds would know this. Can't they use their abilities to hack something worth while? Like terrorist organizations or Microsoft? (just kidding)
