Did you check her site? Wasn't that the first one she did? (Albeit with a different set of ingredients.)
I didn't watch the clip yet. But from what I know of the Bajau here in the Philippines, they also dive for pearls, so yeah, it's still very much useful.
@Luke: If I got it right, the specs shows CPS1 and CPS2. These 2 systems are Capcom Play Systems, basically arcade systems that played games like SF2 and Marvel vs Capcom.

[en.wikipedia.org]

So from the looks of it, you're right that it runs emulators that particularly plays Capcom arcade, Neogeo and GBA roms; not PS1 or PS2 games.
So she was too risqué to be considered sexy? ;-)

Besides, there was a toned-down anime tv series for this.
How about this one?
Thanks for the reply. Now that I've read it again as you highlighted, yeah it mentioned "to pull them apart", not pull them off into disappearance. Hehe. =)
I might be naive here, but I was just thinking that the loss of asteroids in select sectors might cause an imbalance; maybe gravity imbalance? change of orbit of other asteroids?

If so, then the aliens might then be wise enough to distribute their mining efforts to even out their removal of asteroids.

And with this, they'll avoid throwing off the size distribution of asteroids, making one of our criteria in finding them a flawed one.

(Although I do admit, there are also a lot of assumptions on my part.)
Yes, Kotaku did an article about her a few months ago. So this new post is largely an update because of her new tv ad.
I don't lie about finishing a game. The closest that happened was that I was excited to tell friends that I now own so-and-so games. So they asked me if I've played them to which I answer yes (coz I had to test if the games were working correctly on my console).

They then go on length on how great this part was or how difficult a certain part was.

To which I then sheepishly admit to just playing the 1st level of the said game/s.

Not exactly lying but still embarrassing though.

From then on, I tell people that I'm more of a "videogame collector" than a "hardcore videogamer". (:D
@ThumpyBass wants a Fox-Coyote Frankenstang more than you can imagine: Sorry but I have to disagree with you.

Germany has been one of the few countries that do NOT ignore their past. They have made memorials in their concentration camps for the victims. They have movies that constantly show the horror and evilness of the Nazi regime.

They have head-on accepted and owned up to their fault in WWII, that's why you can see that Germany is currently in close ties with France and Britain.

It's a far cry from how Japan, Korea, China and other SEA countries view WWII and each other. (Don't get me started there, but Japan might be the one who deserves more of what you've been saying..)

The main argument that Wagner is saying is that as a victim of the Berlin wall, he does NOT want people to play as a border guard and get desentisized about killing unarmed civilians.

He wants people to remember the Berlin wall incident as a horror, not as entertainment.
@HitBit: Point taken. But take note though that the one "complaining" in the article is not one of the guards, not even a regular german, but rather one of the victims of the Berlin wall.

So it isn't that he's ashamed of the past. He's afraid that the game might end up glorifying or whitewashing it by offering up the option to be a border guard.

In any case, I can see that we're both agreeing that it can be educational even the option to be a border guard. They just really need to be careful to craft into it the proper context and evoke how bad it is.
@HitBit: I guess what they're afraid of is that, those gamers that play as a border guard will NOT learn how disgusting the repression is, but instead, they might get desensitized and end up enjoying the act of shooting unarmed civilians.
@DoktorFunkenstein: No, no. I don't think that's it.

If you remember back when Optimus was dying and was giving away the Matrix, Hot Rod was the one that touched/caught it first. And then he gave it to Ultra Magnus.

That's why Ultra Magnus couldn't open it, coz Hot Rod was somehow the "chosen one" simply by being the one who held the Matrix after Optimus. (You'll notice this because when Hot Rod caught the Matrix, there was a bright light.)

And yes, if Wheelie had caught it when Optimus was dying, he would have been the leader of the Autobots. =P
Light-cycle bump cars/bikes? laser tag with discs?
@Behrditz: The one with the Kunio crew. The way you can continually annihilate your enemy with those power shots just feels so satisfying. =)
Mike Tyson's PunchOut and Super Dodge Ball.
And yes, I feel old for having said that.
@totallyrockyabs: because she doesn't need to, with her father being a business tycoon in the Philippines.
@The Anti-Fanboy: I think "companions" is their word for "booth babes".

But then again the word "companion" means so much more than just a booth babe ...
@Revival: At first glance I thought the pic was just a CGI screenshot from games like the ones from FFXIII. Wow!
@Synthos: Really?? Hmm... the other problem I have is that our party group has around 3-5 gamers while Gears 2 only has 2 player co-op. (Though I think the multiplayer mode allows more.)

Anyways thanks for the heads-up. I might just re-consider our gaming menu then. =)
