The story doesn't actually mention PS3s, it just says "playstations" which could frankly mean any games console with a USB port (eg XBox, PS2). And it's in the Daily Record. And this info comes from "a source".

I'll be taking this with the gigantic pinch of salt it deserves.

@Tyrunn: Visa and Mastercard are payment systems, you can get debit or credit cards which use these systems. Electron uses Visa. Hope this helps.

@Closing-Gap: The BBC doesn't broadcast its shows free in other countries - it sells them. BBC Worldwide made £145 million profit in 2009 on revenue of over £1 billion. So you can start paying your licence fee again, safe in the knowledge that it's being run as an actual fucking business.

I played the game and managed to balance the budget without too much difficulty.

I'm not American, so maybe I'm way off base here, but it seemed to me as if pretty much every option that the game gives you is politically impossible, given the polarised nature of the US electorate.
