It's interesting that so many people were afraid to comment on that thread. And I hear there was originally a rant similar to the one AJ posted on Deadspin in 2009? www.deadspin.com/5273554/a-brief-shady-announcement-about-your-commenting-privileges
Anyone have a screenshot of what it said? #crosstalk
I really have no idea what's going on anymore at Gawker. #crosstalk
Older individuals, especially born before the 60's, have had a lot more social pressure to deny and repress their sexuality. The men you always hear about who are married to women and then come out as Gay, they don't choose to be gay one day. They just finally accept who they are (usually during or after mid-life crises).
No straight man will one day crave dick when they turn 50. They've had those urges all their lives, whether or not they have acted on it is the question. And just because you have had sex with both sexes doesn't mean you're bisexual. I've known 100% gay men who have had sex with women, mostly because they hadn't accepted themselves yet however.
Now whether women are more likely to be bisexual, or just willing to admit it is a better question.
As many feminist arguments that can be made against Barbie, I still think it's healthier to play with Barbies than dolls that basically tell girls that they are their husband's property.
It's fine if you fell for hipster Ke$ha but there's no need to defend it.
