Well thats the funny thing, I honestly believe that Nolan North has a GREAT vocal range, but when companies hire him I'm fairly sure they say "Do that uncharted thing" just so they can be popular.
I mean finding out he was Sigmund in ratchet and clank was a surprise for me, I honestly had no clue.
Same with portal, it was only when I really listened to the lines over and over could I pick out certain things that tipped me off
