According to the article on BBC The new PS3 will be unable to play PlayStation 1 and 2 games, has a reduced number of USB ports, from four to two connections, and no slots for memory cards. " I can't help but notice something cunning and sinister with Sony's timing. It came almost immediately after Microsoft announced a huge amount of money put aside for 360 repairs. In the high-tech market for consoles I think that it will definitely play in Sony's favour."
