accidentally double posted, sorry!
Upstate New York can mean a lot of things! As a resident of an area sometimes described as Upstate New York, I'm going to ask the necessary question: what general area(s) of the state were you looking at?
Wouldn't it be "Hylian"? I think...?
So attending this event were: "People I picture mostly on the Millennium Falcon" and... some other people who weren't (really) in Star Wars.
There are a fair amount of metal and rock fans who aren't otherwise into Japanese rock who would probably enjoy X Japan in Rock Band, especially if it were some properly intense X Japan songs. I would too.

It could do decently as DLC.
Didn't Yasunori Mitsuda do the majority of the music for Chrono Trigger? People are talking about it like Uematsu did the whole thing.
@juicemaster23: You know that they released an album called "Human After All" about four years ago and an album "Alive 2007" last year, right? It won a couple Grammys, even. I wouldn't normally consider a live album to be an actual release, but in this case it certainly is as it's hugely different from the way their songs are on record.

Also, the name of the song is "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger". You could say that you shortened it for brevity's sake, but I think when you're posting to call other people posers you better get your details straight.

God, there are so many comments that I couldn't possibly read them all, but this post really is sensationalist garbage. I'm saddened by the fact that so many readers can't see past the headline into the actual quote.
Seriously, can we get some impressions from someone who knows who Zangief is? Even my girlfriend knows who Zangief is...
@The Bruce: Dude, if your idea of the pinnacle of fighting games is Killer Instinct Gold then I don't even know what to tell you. That game wasn't even better than Killer Instinct! and Killer Instinct was worse than...pretty much every decent fighting game!

Not that I didn't enjoy KI and KI Gold...but man...seriously?!

I'd say appearance vs. taste in a hamburger is a lot like appearance vs. gameplay in a videogame... I don't agree with the argument that it's worse in for games than for sandwiches. Either way you are buying the product directly advertised and it doesn't look like it's supposed to, but there is another dimension to it that is (supposedly) the most important one (taste or gameplay).
I don't see how this song could be incomprehensible to anybody, but at least this article is way better than the ignorant and inflammatory one over at Wired's Game|Life about the same issue.

I didn't really like hip hop that much before, but I really dig Lupe's messages, and I like the sound of his tracks. I hope he becomes hugely popular and finally makes people realize that poser gangster rap is as worthwhile as hair metal.

@kefkakrazy: The second last one definitely isn't Zero from MMX... he didn't look that weird.

Maybe I'm just an old guy or something (not really, I'm 21) but I really can't stand any post-Megaman X character designs. Everyone's too skinny and can't stand up straight! Well, Megaman Legends is ok, but I'm talking about any of the newer ones.

On Christmas Day, I used to eat dinner at my grandma's. We'd start out with some chicken soup, which was really what most people call "Italian wedding soup" I guess, because it had little meatballs in it. For the main course we'd have (homemade, natch) ravioli with an assortment of meats in sauce to go with it: meatballs, some sort of roast beef I think, and braciola (I had to find that on Wikipedia to learn how to spell it, as my family always referred to it with the Sicillian pronunciation which sounds nothing like that spelling.)

I miss this kind of Christmas dinner...

Oh, and I also eat pizza and wings with the Jewish side of my family on Christmas Eve. And we'd exchange presents. Go figure.
