Quit scaring me. I'm looking up prices for that Rei Ayanami wig
Huh. Auto-boot from a disc was gone? For how long? Because I specifically remember going through my 360's settings a couple days ago, and giving serious thought to turning on that option.

Maybe playing all that Rez HD fucked with my brain @_@
@Paradox me: Welcome to Costco.... I love you....

On a more serious note, having worked for my college's paper and run across the issue of image reproduction before, I can tell you this suit's completely baseless. So long as Beckett credits their photos, and doesn't try to reprint the actual cards themselves, they've broken exactly zero laws.

But the counter-suit looks like it could be even more better! Beckett might actually have a case there. Because Beckett's got what lawyers crave: it's got defamation of character!

@vnunes: Wait- so if I were to say "Pikachu" to someone's face in Brazil, would I be punched in the face?

@avconsumer2: Ha- thank you. I actually played Zaxxon 3-D on my SMS and it wasn't too bad, considering it was 8-bit
What is it with the 360's fumbling with their add-ons' form factors? The HD-DVD drive looked like my 360 tried to off itself by tethering a cement block to its leg and jumping into the Hudson, now Natal makes it look like it's airing out a used pregnancy test.

For the love of god, MS, take a page out of Sega's old playbook and make your add-ons ADD-ONABLE. When I plunk down over 100 bucks to further weigh down my console with more plastic, it had better look like a fucking Megazord once I've set it up in my rumpus room.
"The decision to include an online access code solution in UFC Undisputed 2010 was made early in the product development process."

That's either a blatant lie, or proof that THQ is not good at what they do, which is publish games. Not including something so important as a one-time activation code anywhere on the printed manual, the box, or even in the game itself is perhaps the single biggest thing a publisher can do if they want to show their developers- and their customers- that they are incompetent.

I suggest THQ rescind the above statement and admit that the one-time activation code process was shoehorned into the product at the last minute, thus explaining the slapdash implementation. It's the least-damaging thing they can say at this point.
@yoagner: Even if you chopped off the pocket calculator tumor on the bottom, it would still be a design fail, because the ABC buttons are BACKWARDS
@GohanEgret: God, please do. I'd forgive you for the delay if it means that you finally release a Sonic game without a debilitating flaw
@slim934: This is very true- but at the time Sony was being such pricks about it that no one even wanted to acknowledge that fact. They'd always planned on a long-term cost-reduction strategy for the PS3, but I don't think alienating chunks of their consumer base was ever part of their plan
I'm expecting this game to call it quits two years earlier than most people expect, then in about twenty years be followed up with a new, better game set 100 years in the future which will last much longer
@Ethereus: In fairness, I started typing mine first- Jtown465 just beat me to the Share button
@Ethereus: Gannon took her away, now the children won't play, but they will, when Link save the day! Hallelujah!

@etchasketchist: Technically yeah, but there's a hidden room specifically designed to show you how to do it. So unless it was in the manual (not sure if it was), most players back in the day probably only learned about it after they found that room

@icarus212001: I dunno- all the other abilities were easy to execute once you unlocked them, but the wall jump took skill to master even after learning it, which made using it to get to more secret areas that much more satisfying
@SuperSonik: Yes, yes and YES. GX made the GameCube seem like a graphically relevant console again, in part due to the blisteringly-fast close-up view. Also on the racing topic, I've only played the first Ridge Racer and Ridge Racer PSP, but whichever game in between added the nitro boost gave the series a much-needed shot in the arm
