A bunch of frat guys would really enjoy the game then, because they'd be drunk at the same time. I think it got totally screwed over because it was being released on a Nintendo console, and they didn't want a game with "alcohol content" being associated with their brand name.

As for the pricedrop, I don't feel that bad since I paid $350 and got Turok free with it, but at $300 now Sony will have to do something about their machine, especially because it doesn't have as many lower priced games.

That would be the only way to get it right, and not with real actors. Even then, it would appeal to such a niche audience I'm not sure how well it would do...just like Final Fantasy.

I think it would be a good idea to have links to their profiles so we could view some of their posts before judging them, and I also think that past experiences do in fact matter as to who wields the banhammer. We don't need people banned just because they're supporting their favorite system in a way that can be construed as being a "trolling fanboy".

I also agree that the followers at times have nothing to do with the person. Over on Gizmodo, this user "Carmen" has over 135 followers and every single one of her posts is of a sexual, child like and off topic behavior. She only got those followers by behaving that way, and was actually called out by a few of the writers there as well. In fact that was one of the reasons why all these "read the comments code" were put in place. So quantity of followers does not make quality of posts.

I'll reserve my vote until I read a bit more into them, but in the end Mr. Crescente has the final say.

2.40 has been running fine for me, however I've said before that I've noticed the HD light on a lot more than it used to be. Just going from left to right in the XMB makes its flash for a few seconds now, and I can hear it as well. I haven't used the PS3 since reading of all this, and by the time I get back to it 2.41 should be out.

I'm actually a Kotaku regular and go to four other Gawker sites as well (I'm hooked) and as far as comments, they seemed to be off topic here the most. That being said though, the Wii is the source for all Mario and Zelda games etc which you can't get anywhere else, and it's because of the amount of these games they have that the Wii has such an attach rate. I don't see too many multi-plat games released on the Wii due to the controller configuration, and if they are they're different in some way. A game like "The Force Unleashed" may persuade owners of two consoles to buy the Wii version as well.
