"@Ravidrath: Agreed and I would add from my own experience that I am still completely on last gen graphics with my Xbox, PS2, GameCube, DS, PSP, and Wii, so any of the new graphical elements on a 360 or PS3 would be a huge difference to me, but in comparison to other games on the same system, the game could look like crap."

"I had seen people say a few similar things to this, but I am irritated when: -The reviewer doesn't mention any differences between the consoles; I regularly go to the reviews to find out whether I should get one version or another. -The reviewer is completely jaded by the whole genre, but doesn't even consider that some of us may be new to the genre. -The reviewer hates that game type or loves it and doesn't make that clear at the beginning."

Thanks for your nice comment on my piece for The Morning News. It was refreshing to read after being thoroughly depressed by a sea of comments about Fred Savage and gamepads-as-marital-aids. Part two of that series will be up in two weeks, and a new one two weeks after that, etc.
