I love my TurboGrafx-16! I bought it when it was being liquidated from a local electronics store for only $50 and it came with a mystery bonus pack-in game that turned out to be the Zelda clone Neutopia

I picked up a couple more games like Legendary Axe II, Bloody Wolf & Bonk's Adventure but I lived in a small town where it was virtually impossible to find games for it especially at that point being disocontinued.

So unfortunately (okay still fortunately) I soon bought a SEGA Genesis and my TG-16 was shoved in a box for many years until one day I decided to take it out, clean it up and remembered how great it was.

It has such bright colours and the best audio chipset of any retro system in my opinion. It also has a real Japanese videogaming feel to it all y'know? something zany which is lost in the grit of new games.

At first I bought a couple games on eBay like Air Zonk and by that time I was living in a bigger city so was able to slowly build my collection from various pawn shops & specialty stores, becoming a fav.

One day I was surfing on craigslist & someone was selling the CD add-on for $150, how could I resist? I remembered all the strange games I'd seen in magazines and now I could actually play them myself.

So the first console I'd ever bought myself ended up being one of the centrepieces of my videogame collection. I'm glad I had the foresight to do so & recommend you all find oe too while you still can.

of all the robot based educational adventure games I played as a child for the C64, Tink Tonk in Buddy Bot Land is by far the most forgotten. Good game with great music though.
I like the graphics in Metal Gear 1 & 2 but I wouldn't mind a fleshed out 3D remake of either either.
Oh I dunno, those PSP God of War games are supposed to be pretty good, aren't they?
Location for Just Cause 3 confirmed? :D
lol I'm starting to think that's what SEGA wants.
Does this mean I'll get another chance to own one of hose Ryo Hazuki in a forklift figurines? I wanted one sooo badly but it was only available through a contest :(
Only Jack died in my playthrough, which I was absolutely fine with until I heard she's supposed to be in ME3. I hope I won't be missing out on a bunch of content now :S

I'm also worried how I chose to kill the heretic Geth instead of reprograming them as Shep said it'd be wrong but I got renegade points for it, so I hope I don't lose Legion.

Activision has a proud tradition of flooding the market with plastic accessories dating back to their acqusition of Guitar Hero.
lol I'm sorry I prefer physical media too but your description of fondling your zelda cart just made me think of this. It is gold and precious to you after-all. Also I'll bet it was a birthday present ;D
Oh I dunno, the Dreamcast GDs didn't hold that much more than a CD. Take into account the lower res testures & simpler models the Saturn version would have & I think it could be done in about the same number.
Do you remember them? I've been trying to remember for awhile. It was the Odyssey (journey where you meet different characters along the way), Pygmalion (falling in love with what you create), The Bible (origin of the world) aand I don't remember the rest :(
But Zero Mission retconned it into always being there as it is designed now! Ahem.. However, personally I could do without it because it kind of undermines Samus' status as one of the videogame heroines who aren't just there for fan service.
Yikes! Now I understand that health class video.
I wonder if Mega Man looks like a terminator under his suit D:
Never completed Metroid 1 fast enough eh?
Aw you beat me to it! lol
Is Advance tour on DSi/3DS's Virtual Console?
I think there is but it's only compatible with the 2000 & 3000 models. Not sure about the GO.
I woulda been happy had they just done the same for the GCN version of Mario Golf but I think they could have done some really fun & creative things with a new one built from the ground up. Also have improved graphics.

What didn't you like about Wii Sports Golf though? I really enjoyed it except it just wasn't enough. Super Swing Golf has a steep learning curve but it's a lot of fun using a mace to drive shots across an aircraft carrier. #speakup
