Although I lean towards the complete turn-based i control everyone battle system this one seems to call upon me to buy a 360 to play more jrpg's on an american system. Need I remind you that for a 360 the wifi dongle thingy is $100 new and $60 used at gamestop and online access is $50 for a 13 months. If im not mistaken that equals up to roughly, well now after price drop, around $450 which is more than a ps3 with tax.

On to the topic at hand. Square Enix are traitor to the actual contract at hand. They either paid sony of or either microsoft paid sony off. The contract Square has with Sony is they are not allowed to make any Final Fantasy games (single player rpg offline that is) Before FFXIII. But seeing as FFXIII's idea came out first and that was the original FFXIII then You could say that what is now called ff13 is the second one. So it technically is not breaking contract with Sony.

The Sony owning stock in Square is also true. So they could really care less to the part of loosing money to 360 because they are still making money. I am rather dissappointed at this move when i heard about it back in February when a Microsoft rep came into a Gamestop store and said FF13 was also coming to 360. When i heard that i though your full of bs. But here it is 5 months later and being announce. Now he can come back to my store and say i told you so and i would have to slap the shit out of him.

ps. What would really be funny is if Square Enix really wanted to fuck with everyones head and put 360 copies of FFXIII in the PS3 cases and vice versa. I would one sue them for false advertisement and two buy half of someones stock with that money. :)

I bought my first ds3 @ play-asia.com they have the black ones for $52 i believe but the shipping price is $6.60. It would be the same as you waiting. Ds3 are not region protected so you can just plug and play with those bad boys. Delivery is about 2 weeks.

But as for you buying an american psn card and using it in the UK, it just wont work. The psn cards are region locked. Due to the price exchange rate changes as stated earlier.

There are ppl that hate dwell in knowing all that is microsoft and breaking their system down and stealing information. Reason to why windows has so many viruses but not linux or sumthing. But if the exchange between an american dollar to japanese dollar is increased then if the $20 american card is bought before that raise then they can say they got the card for cheaper than what it goes for after the raise in the exchange rate.

The prices for the content has changed before. As for the using of real dollars, I would assume this is why they are using dollar denominations instead of the points system. The $20 card will always be $20 as you have stated unlike Microsoft of Nintendo, who could change their 2000 points cards prices so easily. I guess its just a way of having their customers less confused with how much the points are really worth.

But the dollar denominations I believe is less confusing than the points system just because you know exactly how much you are paying for something. I am curious as to know if the psn network cards will get taxed when you buy them. Since they are unike the points system and use actual dollar amounts. I think they will get taxed though as if I were to buy and actual game from the store.

Absolutely agreed upon with me. And the violence being more acceptable, what can I say. Violence is more acceptable because everyone wants to see it, but when it comes to sex and love in a video game its absolutely not ethical. Apparently violence is and this is what justifies murder and killing.
