Ironically, the reason I started playing this game is because I was a subscriber when Auto Assault closed and I got a free copy of TR.
@BR4DL3I9H: WoW is one large persistent world. Hellgate was more like Guild Wars, where there are public hubs but all the missions take place in instances where the only people you see are the ones in your group.
To be fair, the game is a great deal of fun now. If they launched the game 8 months later, it would have lasted a much longer time.
Want to know another really good DRM method? Make the game like 25 gigs. 3 DVDs.
With all the new ISP bandwidth limits we're starting to see, I think a 25gig download would surely deter some people.
Does it say "Exclusive" anywhere in that press release? Just because they release a track pack game doesn't mean you won't see any AC/DC in Guitar Hero.
Guitar Hero 3 had a Foo Fighters track pack months ago, and now they feature songs (actually, the same song) in both new games.
You may still see some AC/DC in both games, you probably just won't see the same tracks.
