Same here. I thought it was because I just have an old launch PS3. I'd hate to lose my backwards compatibility because a firmware update altered my fan speed.
@Harciog: Bah. It begged for it.
"Now, rumble I think was the last generation feature; it's not the next-generation feature."
@protoman: Brilliant and hilarious.
@psykofaze: Grinning ear to ear. I can almost hear them laughing.
It's my first attempt at a contest like this :/
@Brodka: regrettably: Actually, you do have to go out to infinite decimal places lest you round. Any number not evenly divisible by three will give you a repeating set of 3's or 6's. Neither 1 (pound) nor 16 (ounces) is evenly divisible.
@andrewwyatt: We all know Nintendo would never do that!
I wish I could change the PS3 boot sound to the PS1 chimes.
Sweet lord almighty. I own a free/open source software shop and hand out business cards all the time. This is wonderful. Must order.
Someone should make a movie after LOTRO >.>
RE5 and LOTR:Conquets. I have UFC and FFXIII on Amazon preorder.
I only buy games I can easily acronym or abbreviate.
@Mike Newlad: I got the Fedor Affliction shirt. All my shiny studs on it have fallen off :( I would prefer to have an Arlovski shirt but, alas, it was not in the store that day.
I fight MMA at Greubel's in Augusta, GA - most specifically I train in BJJ most days and Kickboxing at least once a week to keep up my punch combos and cardio. I love UFC and Affliction with a passion and absolutely love the grappling and submission. I recognize MMA isn't everyone's cup of tea and I grew up loyal to boxing but the events I have seen lately have been poor (ahem, De La Hoya/Pacquiao). Perhaps the upcoming Winky Wright fight will draw some attention back.
Currently MMA is where its at and EA recognizes that.
I just pre-ordered the UFC game on Amazon a few days ago :) I too hope the control scheme doesn't suck. I don't want to do button combinations for leg an arm bars - perhaps a few combinations to get into position but then 'stretching' the analog sticks would be a nice feature.
Picked up Bioshock and Portal on the Steam sale. Also gonna play Uncharted and the perpetual LOTRO.
@Revenge_of_Nekojin: I agree. I was active duty Army from 1999-2003 and when we weren't off in the field training or in Kosovo we were playing shooters, watching Band of Brothers, etc. It's just part of the life. I guess people who don't experience it just don't know. It's like saying people who program all day (me) don't like to go home and tool around with writing Linux apps or what-have-you.

Fort Drum 1-10 Aviation!

First semeseter grad school grades back, woohoo! Finishing R6V2, starting Uncharted and BioShock and hanging around on LOTRO.

I know my games are old.
