But that's not bait and switch. That's "you didn't actually win!" Bait and switch would be them confirming the prize, not the site confirming the prize. The site is not infallible. But I understand her being upset, it's just the 'sick' part that puzzles me. Just go buy a Vita and don't go to Taco Bell for the rest of the year, it'll pay for itself.

She won a contest. Maybe. But it's THEIR contest. I agree, it's totally bullshit-- but "sick"? Why should she feel sick? I'd just be so mad I'd never eat there again, myself. Part of the reason I haven't gone there in a long time. Also because their food doesn't sit well in my stomach anymore, after eating homecooked meals from my girlfriend for so long!

Ah, no, I didn't mean with traditional electronics. I meant with the advent of new and different technologies that aren't necessarily dependent on shrinkage or the number of transistors. Graphics cards have recently taken this turn for example. In some cases, the average is either better, or behind Moore's Law. That, and operating software often scales to the processing power making the functional gains often quite a bit less than the predictions from Moore's. However in a general sense, averaged out over time, you are correct that Moore's Law has been quite accurate.
Oh, you two! It had nothing to do with the price. More expensive restaurants that I've eaten at tend to have the squid prepared in a more... tentacle-y way, so I just try to think of those when I eat it.

Usually, mods like this one affect lighting, depth of field, that sort of thing. As for this one... I'm not sure. I'm checking out his forums but I don't get much information. To be sure, it doesn't include all the stuff you saw in the video, the cars, the street signs, the buildings...
I wish I had the patience to install the massive amount of texture mods he has in there. I replaced some cars one time then I got lazy and doing all that worked seemed like such a chore. If only there was a single mod group I could install to get everything he has installed in that video.
That itself is true, however the validity of Moore's Law is somewhat in dispute as of late as I recall. Even so, I don't have a problem imagining the next Xbox/PS could be ten times more powerful than its previous generation as each previous one has managed to achieve almost that amount of success, but inflation has been quite serious over the past decade and producing such a device could prove prohibitively expensive. We shall see!
