soluto.com has a nice little "program" that monitors up to 5 computers for free. I can randomly check on my mom's computer and she doesn't even know I was there.
I'm guessing ED medicines produce more unwanted pregnancies than abortions eliminate. But then where is the correlation in forcing a woman to look at an ultrasound? I've seen a jillion of those things and a Rorschach looks more like a baby than they do.
Activision's concern wasn't "hacking" the game, it was the reverse engineering of the device. In theory Wilson could've "stolen" the technology and profited off the R&D Activision payed for.
In this case Activision probably acted too harsh as he was basically taking apart his toaster to see how it works; however they have to be mean and aggressive to protect their bottom line.
I'll have to agree with the general consensus that better deals are to be had elsewhere, especially online. That, and I'd pay a premium to shop at a store that treats employees fairly and honors their pre-orders, all pre-orders.
A lot of times if you pre-order a game that does need it (say Teen Titans on GBA), they still don't get it. I know someone who ordered said game and had to wait months for a copy to arrive in store. If I don't pre-order Madden, or any kill-kill game of the week, I can easily stroll in launch day and get one.
I'd have to look into it, but I don't think Amazon charges your card until the item ships; so you could in theory pre-order all you want. Just make sure the money's there in time.
You don't get the guns or ammo for free, you're just required to have it. It's like car insurance; the state requires you to have it, but you have to pay for it.
In the pilot they did mention it was an alternate time stream due to not finding the beacon in 2149. Early prediction- it gets destroyed in some way so they couldn't find it later. That, and even Energizer can't claim to last 85 million years. :)
On your fourth point there are two possibilities there: 1. Alternate time stream means they can add crap that didn't exist. 2. It is possible we don't have a 100% complete record of dinosaurs that did exist; remains of rarer animals could have been lost to time.
You could be on to something with the V coming from a fiver, maybe there's a big plot to rip off the treasury? In that case it could be in Cleveland, we have a reserve building here. Though it's probably the one in SF...
